Last week my girlfriend went out of town and she asked me to look after her house and feed her parrot. Everything went smoothly for the first couple of days. On the third day, I took my ferret with me. Louis, that's my ferret's name, ate the parrot and took a crap on her new white carpet. He didn't crap out the parrot because he had just eaten it, but whatever it was, it was long, sticky and hard to clean up. It left a big brown stain on her carpet. I was watching T.V. and eating crackers when it happened, so I couldn't have prevented it. I bought a new parrot that looks just like the one Louis ate, and put some white out on the carpet stain. My girlfriend is back saying that's not her parrot and asking why there's sh*t with white out on her carpet. I explained to her it wasn't my fault and that I had spent a lot of money on the new parrot, but she's still angry. Why is she being such a baby about this whole thing?

You are a horrible BF! You killed her parrot AND destroyed her carpet, great job. So now she knows that you are immature and cant handle any responsibility. And you don't put WHITE OUT on a carpet, DUH! Either you should have cleaned it with a sponge, soap and water or you should have hired a carpet cleaner. Or you could have made a trip to the store and bought carpet stain remover. Or buy her a new carpet. So if you die can she just find a new BF and that easily replaces you? No. However from the sounds of it a new BF isn't a bad idea. You cant just buy a new bird and think that she would be ok with that. She may have loved her bird and every creature has its own personality.
You should apologize to her and tell her you will do anything to make the situation better. Making excuses, saying "it isn't my fault!" blah blah blah IS NOT AN APOLOGY! You are just making an excuse and not owning up to what you did! Did she ever say it was ok to bring you pet over?! Probably not!

if you ask me you are the one that is the baby, cause you took the responsability and it sound like you where jerking off on the couch and yes it could of been prevented you could have either 1. left the ferret at home 2. kept the ferret with you at all time 3. go in to the house do what you are supposed to do and then leave (instead of sitting on the couch and watching t.v. in a house that doesnt even belong to you) or 4. just could of told her the truth when she got back. and IT IS YOUR FAULT and for the replacing the parrot part, it never works that is only what you see mostly on t.v. and that ussually never works

now i probably wasted my time typing all of that but if this really happened it was worth it but this does sound like a fabricated story

You probably don't want to hear this, however, you took on the RESPONSIBILITY of taking care of her house and her pet. When your ferret at the parrot you should have told the TRUTH and either called your girlfriend or told her what happened when she returned. As far as the rug goes, you should have called a rug cleaner company and tried to find out how to get the stain out immediately. On top of everything you were very deceitful and tried to get out of you errors by lying. Lying never works in the long run. Always tell the truth no matter how difficult it may be, because in the end you will always have your dignity and no one will call you a liar. You should apologize to your girlfriend for your mistakes and stop lying!

You're a bad boyfriend. You should have told her the truth instead of trying to deceive her with a look-alike parrot. You should have at least rented a steam cleaning machine and get the stain out of the carpet. White out? Come on, now!

You need to get her carpet back to normal and take the heat about your ferret. How would you feel if she had a dog and it age your ferret and then **** on your carpet?? She is right to complain and if were Me I'd make you get rid of the little monster. Lucky she even talks to you.

You're too immature to have a girlfriend, if you can't figure it out. I hope her parrott eats your ferret and she replaces him with a hampster and see if you like it. men act like babies more than women do usually. If you bring an animal into someone else's house, you'd better watch it like a hawk. You should have known better, as a ferret owner they are very hard to control.

Dude! You messed up BIG TIME! You can't simply replace a beloved pet with a look-alike. She's not acting like a baby, you are acting like a jerk.

Look at all these morons who actually believed your story.
