Um...it's not the Republicans sweetie. Everyone is really quick to blame them. I believe we should put the blame where it's deserved. The gas companies are greedy bastards. They have all shown record prices over the past year, but continue to raise the prices. They have us by the balls, so to speak. We need gas, they have it. Supply and demand. If we want it, we'll pay what they ask.

Don't know about any other companies like BP/Amoco or Chevron/Texaco, but Exxon/Mobil Corp just has to keep raising its prices. They must have learned to like their $11 Billion [yes BILLION] quarterly profit margin--who wouldn't. Plus, how else could they pay some of their top executives $90 million bonuses.
