Read this article. It seems to me that the nation has bigger problems to worry about. The meth epidemic, heroin, crack, cocaine, opium. I mean this makes me feel like our officals take us for idiots that they can use scare tactics on for everything. I think our tax dollars are being put to work for the wrong issues. The way the US gov. throws around the "T" word now reminds me of the McCarthy Red scare commiunist hunts. Supposedly we live in a democratic country. Why can't we get our priorities straight and spend the $ they're using for Marijuana raids to give our boys coming home from war proper mental counseling that they are in need of and deserve? Improve our healthcare? Fund our public schools? You name it, our money is better off spent elsewhere.

so far both sides have been making preperations for war, and Syrias bad president said he will only make peace talks with Israel if they give up all of the Golan which will never happen because it belongs to Israel.

"Meanwhile, witnesses have cast fresh doubt on the alibi of Madeleine McCann kidnap suspect Robert Murat.

Locals have told police in the Algarve, Portugal, they saw a man resembling the expat property developer outside the McCanns' apartment in Praia da Luz on the night Madeleine was snatched.

The sightings back up claims made by three friends of Gerry and Kate McCann last week. "

Please, give me a break. Murat's face has only been seen in the papers for weeks, this latest sighting was by locals who presumably would know who Murat was, and only NOW they suddenly remember seeing him that night?

I can see a miscarriage of justice coming here and all perpertrated by McCann and Friends Inc.

I think it was only a year ago that they threatened the "nuclear option" to remove that debate tactic entirely, and I know of at least 2 times they used it since they lost control of congress...

And how much crack did this AP writer have to smoke to consider $2.80 a gallon a break???? Are they counting on us being brainwashed this quickly and actually thinking $2.80 is fair deal???? What next, hike it to $4.00 a gallon and then tell us $3.80 is a steal.... Thank you congress for AGAIN letting capitolism rule democracy, you should all be fired and stripped of your rights for your lack of care for the people you are supposed to represent.

I mean the object of war is to kill not to be killed. So, should we not give credit and the glory to those who did thier job right and came out on top. I reckon anyone can go to war and get killed but not eveyone can go to ware and come out alive.

I've lost count of the number of entries in this and various other groups about the McCanns apparently making a mint out of their daughter's disappearance and using it for personal gratification. My question is, given that the McCanns were undoubtedly criminally negligent in leaving their daughter unsupervised and unattended, should the monies not be sequestered by the UK govt and administered by them or perhaps by InterPol to cover the costs incurred so far in the search for this wee girl?

Atlast, truth prevails. CNN has admitted that it screwed up with their "facts". Michael Moore's systematic, step-by-step evidence nailed them into admitting their errors (that too on Live TV).

Source: http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/message/index.php?id=217

So what do you Moore haters think? Do you for once see what is the truth or believe that this is some kinda black magic and crap? Are you willing to accept for once that Michael Moore is RIGHT?

There is a lot of opionions that the McCanns had something to do with it, and I agree, the whole thing is very odd and fishy. What I want to know is - WHY on earth would someone pretend their child was abducted and where would they hide her? Not that I'm sayin this is the case but if they did have something to do with it the only reason I can think of would be for money and as doctors, they are hardly short of that. Could it be possible someone is blackmailing them over something?

Well of course I understand we need to be informed. But come on don’t you think it might just boost Taliban confidence by basically broadcasting they are succeeding or at least holding strong at their master plan to bring down the western civilization. Now that every media agency in the world has basically opened the report by the Defense Committee to everyone about the Taliban growing stronger than before 911 and that Al-Qaeda are gaining ground in Afghanistan & Pakistan I think we have gone nuts. What is your opinion about the media on this subject?

The government is considering plans to allow police permanent access to data from traffic cameras to track the movement of cars. The "Big Brother" plans emerged after Home Office Minister Tony McNulty announced that real-time data from London's 1,500 congestion charge cameras would be given to Scotland Yard under a temporary lifting of data protection rules. Under current arrangements, the Metropolitan Police have to ask for data from the number-plate reading cameras on a case-by-case basis.

Background notes inadvertently attached to McNulty's statement on Tuesday revealed Home Office plans to make the exemption from data protection plans permanent and to extend it across the country.

I HOPE THEY GET IT THROUGH - I am very happy to be monitored all day every day in order to help deter and catch criminals. I back use of CCTV all the way. The idiots who campaign against it are living in another century

I have recently been baptised to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or more commonly know as The Mormons. So many people believe that there are bad things with this church and there really isn't. I've been attending services for three years and my husband and I are planning on getting married in the temple. Please help me to understand the reason people are so misunderstood about this church. Thank you.
