Obviously it's because the Administration doesn't want us to know the truth.

Thank you for directing me to the story.

We are lucky to live in an era where we can view and learn through videos, pictures and through internet and tv what is really going on in the World, instead of being told and just believing what the people incharge wants us to believe like it has been done for many centuries. Sad things have happened and continue to take place... and hopefully if we human being become aware of this we will stop hurting other human beings. We need World Peace.

It's not. Most of us know that the news is about the strange, the unusual. That's why they never show the vast majority of troops and family that are in support of the war. It's not weird or rare enough.

The problem is those few people who confuse news with "the whole picture". That's not the job of the news nowadays.

When it shows only one side, any sane person tucks it away and waits to hear the other side, unless they are a political bigot and don't care about the truth (all sides).

That would be for the same reason that raw footage of the so-called melting of polar ice is not shown, i.e., the _complete_ truth does not fit someone's agenda.

Everything, and I mean _everything_ that you see as 'news' is slanted to advance an agenda.

Trust no-one

It reminds us that a war is about people.

Even if we are not drafting, even if we are not experiencing metal and food shortages, real suffering is happening.

Who told you it was a problem. I recommend forming your own opinion.
