Please, give me a break. Murat's face has only been seen in the papers for weeks, this latest sighting was by locals who presumably would know who Murat was, and only NOW they suddenly remember seeing him that night?
I can see a miscarriage of justice coming here and all perpertrated by McCann and Friends Inc.

I think the mccann and their friends are just trying to find someone to blame, either draw the attention away from there own mistakes or out of sheer desperation to find their daughter

If the McCann's were being stalked, it would most likely have been an "Inside" job. What I mean is that it would not have been some outsider hanging around the bars watching the kiddie pool. Only someone on the inside, a fellow vacationer, who may not have been alone and who would not have raised suspicions.
I am not suggesting that this means Murat should be a suspect, but someone else staying at the same resort who blends in and has maintained a low profile.

Neary 80 days later...& no...we don't "suddenly remember Murat"...There is an investigation going on... isn't there? Hes always been a suspect. The Police are investigating him. Just 'cos the papers have divulged a thread of this investigation at this time, you wake up & decide that Murat is suddenly thought of. Has is ever occurred to you that the locals may have reported their sightings of Murat immediately to the Police but that it was not revealed to the media as this was crucial confidential info??? Why is it that you don't ever refer to Murat's hiring of that car??? Is it 'cos his surname is not McCann??? What is it with you??? I see a miscarriage of justice broiling in your own complicated mind...

I am worried for him too (if he is innocent) as it does seem incredibly strange. He is known in the area really well surely locals would have come forward before now saying that he had been seen in the area on the night in question. Its strange that this information gets out but we hear nothing about the friends/Mccanns version of events that night. The whole case is extremely puzzling and like no other one I have ever taken an interest in. Makes me nervous I just hope an innocent man is not going to get blamed!

The mccanns would Rather blame anyone but themselves and by blaming him they are deflecting the negative attention away from them to him ...
He will get set up as the Portuguese police are now under pressure from the mccanns friend gorddy brown ..

But did they ever discover why Murat suddenly needed to rent a different car for a day? Clearly they don't have any real evidence against him and he remains their only lead, if one can even apply that word. Yet the bit about the rental car does seem a tad odd.

did I imagine it, but I'm sure last night on the news it was reported that phone calls made from Murat's mother's house on the night in question proved that he was at home with her as he had said? How could he be in two places at the same time? Or is there a twin we haven't yet heard of in this mysterious case

Well the McCanns have to find someone else to blame other than themselves but after all they were at fault for neglecting them in the first place and how come no one is questioning them for what they done???‼‼
