When Syria did have control of the Golan, she used it for attacking Israel, which is why Israel would be reluctant to return this bit of land.

I hope and pray there will not be a war; Israel does not want one, but then she never does. If only the Arab world would just recognise Israel's right to exist, things could move forward.

I think the president of Syria knows that Israel CANNOT return the Golan, so if he's indeed making this a condition of peace, then this means he actually wants war.

no, but a war will happen soon. see - once the muslims get hold of a dirty bomb, weather radioactive, chemical or biological ( maybe even nuclear ) which is portable ( its not my opinion - technology will MAKE this happen ) we've all had our chips.

The jehadis can put that portable bomb in a merchant navy ship and let it dock in - say san francisco, maybe in apartment blocks in europe. Anything can happen

While were all busy at yahoo answers, and while the politicians in the West are debating, while opinion makers all over are yapping, while human right activists are making peace marches - the Muslims are busy sitting in their houses and laughing at us. Because the real jehad is not bombs, the real jehad is patience. Patience to tide over the window period and hit when it hurts.

If Israel and the Wst does not attack ASAP - you are risking annhilation

Highly highly unlikely.

Syria realizes that I cannot win a direct military confrontation with Israel.

And after last summers war public opinion in Israel will not tolerate instigating another conflict.

The only way it could happen if some how Iran sets off the conflict.

My question is, why don't we just blow the entire Middle East up? There, problem solved right?
