Read this article. It seems to me that the nation has bigger problems to worry about. The meth epidemic, heroin, crack, cocaine, opium. I mean this makes me feel like our officals take us for idiots that they can use scare tactics on for everything. I think our tax dollars are being put to work for the wrong issues. The way the US gov. throws around the "T" word now reminds me of the McCarthy Red scare commiunist hunts. Supposedly we live in a democratic country. Why can't we get our priorities straight and spend the $ they're using for Marijuana raids to give our boys coming home from war proper mental counseling that they are in need of and deserve? Improve our healthcare? Fund our public schools? You name it, our money is better off spent elsewhere.

Boy, you hit the nail on the head. This government wants us to be so scared that they can do whatever they want and claim it is to protect us. They listen in on our phone calls, throw people in jail without charges, and tell us it is for our own good. I was alive at the time of McCarthy and this stinks of the same rot. We need a good Edward R. Murrow although Kieth Olbermann is doing a good job of showing the fallacies of this shadow government.

i'm attempting to determine why you think of indoor pot growers would have any distinctive perspectives than anybody else. There are some that generate their very own electrical energy not just to stay off the grid yet to maintain from burning coal to. There are others that should care much less as long as they are incomes earnings.... only like the firms that are destroying the planet. the two way you look into it, paying for vegetables from community growers secure capability in transportation, so I think of the different vegetables might shop on with the comparable rule.

Most of the marijuana in our country is getting across our borders from other countries... not grown here on our own soil. Instead of cracking down on the people here... why not try to stop it from reaching the market in the first place. I agree that money is being used un-wisley... but then again, we do vote for who we want in office... good job America!

No. Tax dollars could be spent on much more pertinent issues (like the ones that you mentioned).

Potheads rationalize all of their problems.
Marijuana contributes to mental health problems, law enforcement problems, health care problems, and a general degradation of society.
Yes, we have higher priorities. No, we don't have to give up solving lesser but still serious problems.
