Remember that kid that was kidnapped and found in Kirkwood, MO after missing for like 5 years? I often wonder what happens to a kid after a ordeal like that. Anyone heard anything?

I realize that he publicly accused several players of rape, but ultimately had to drop the case because the accuser later recanted. I don't understand why Nifong is being threatened with santcions however. Everyday in this country prosecutors make arrests based on initial findings and later release suspects when more evidence comes forward. Believing innocent people are guilty is part of our criminal justice system. Did he withhold evidence? Arrest someone he believed to be not guilty? Did he plant or fabricate evidence? What has he done wrong other than make a mistake in judgement?

Or have so many others really recieved a slap-on-the-wrist for DUI...

Consider this: since 9/11, we have lost more than 121,000 Americans due to drunk drivers, yet it's pretty been much business as usual because, well, it's OK if we kill each other, but when funny looking people who don't dress like us, or think like us, well, THATS not acceptable.

Yet we are throwing hundreds of billions of dollars(thousands of lives too) at this so called war in Terrorism...I think we have our priorities a little f-ed up.

Odd thing is that everyone is outraged by the fact that the train warning weren't working and not the fact that a bunch of 13 and 14 year olds stole a car and were racing at 3 am? Shouldn't the focus be on the fact that these teenagers shouldn't have been out a 3 am racing in a stolen car and not the fact that they got hit by a train? The parents are blaming the railroad rather than themselves. Isn't this crazy?

Our country is at war, our soldiers are getting killed daily and we have people hiding out in this country that hate us. But yet, every day, we get updates on Paris Hilton's jail sentence. Who cares???? If she didnt have the $$$ or the "status" that she has, she wouldnt make the daily news. She gets more press and recognition than the Lord these days it seems. Thats a shame!

I see Micheal Barrymore has been arrested again over the murder of the man that was found dead in his swimming pool six years ago.

Do you think he did it? Or is he innocent?

Will he be found guilty? Or will he strike it lucky?

(Sorry, bad pun, I couldn't resist!)

This is to balance the petition that put against the McCanns.
The views about the McCanns should be balanced, don't you think?

All these events have one thing in common. They changed the way we live. Pearl Harbor was balmed on Roosevelt. 911 is being blamed on Bush. Who puloled off Virginia Stae to change gun control laws even above the NRA.
In all but one assassination and mass murder the one accused died. That is the trademark of the Mafia.
The question is: are all these events and more connected to change the way American think and further curtail our fredoms?

And why do Americans not WANT to do these jobs anymore? Is it the pay? Is it that Americans are getting degrees and working better jobs? Is it that Americans feel that they are better than these jobs?

What are your opinions? If you have facts...provide them please?

‘We have made a deal with the devil’

For a while, part of the administration’s war policy in Iraq was disarming sectarian militias. Now, U.S. forces are trying a different tack — the opposite tack.
The US military has embarked on a new and risky strategy in Iraq by arming Sunni insurgents in the hope that they will tackle the extremist al-Qaida in Iraq."

That there are no relatives of the rich, famous or politians dying in Iraq? Are they too good to fight for America? Bush's two daughters should be over there with our troops as Bush thinks it is such a just cause to kill over 3000 of our husbands, sons and loved ones!

Dear Fellow Askers and Answerer's,

I'm off to pastures new and just wanted to thank those of you who took the trouble to answer my questions, star my questions and pick me as their 'Best Answerer', that particularly made me day :), it has up until now been fun and I will miss some of your wit and wisdom.

For those of you who may wonder why I am going?, well I don't think this will suprise you at all - the whole McCann debate and the way those for and against the family are treating one another at the moment, it deeply saddens me and quite frankly makes my blood run cold. I simply no longer wish to be associated with a site that allows this to go on.

I have found another site very similar that allows me to ask my usual tedious questions and where people are actually polite and supportive of one another.

And yes, I know I didn't need to read the stuff that upset me, I just couldn't believe what I was reading!!!!!!!!!!

Love to you all XX
