To all, take note: I never mentioned Mexicans in my question. If someone is a US citizen, the employer is forced by Federal law to pay at least minimum wages. If someone is here illegally, then the employer is not obligated to pay the wages...and I'm still against that happening. An illegal can't complain since they are ot of this country about his/her pay and I feel bad that this happens too.

I know in the town i work in the illegals work in the chicken and turkey plants....such as buterball and tyson....um....they would not pay a reg person enough to stand there and mess w/ guts all day!! Um.....I want them all to go home and these business just need to stop being stingy and pay people the appropriate amount of money!!Hell, they make enough to pay their employees good wages!!

Mostly, because of the pay and different economies.
If an illegal earns something around 5k to 7k USD annually , that would the same salary a secretary ,assistant or any non management office job in Mexico pays, and that's a LOT more you could earn as doing agriculture or being a farmer.
And that is that Mexico has a more OK economy. Think of places like El Salvador, with poorer conditions, civil conflicts , more scarse jobs. Not all illegals are Mexican.
Also , Which american would work doing full time hard labour for around half or one third of the USA minimum wage?

The illegals just undercut the wages. I have done jobs they say Americans wont do. To justify the illegals is the reason this myth got started. Illegals are in every facet of the work force.

The same with american car companies; You americans have told us loud and clear with these gas prices that you want even bigger V8's with even less gas mileage!
