Or have so many others really recieved a slap-on-the-wrist for DUI...

Consider this: since 9/11, we have lost more than 121,000 Americans due to drunk drivers, yet it's pretty been much business as usual because, well, it's OK if we kill each other, but when funny looking people who don't dress like us, or think like us, well, THATS not acceptable.

Yet we are throwing hundreds of billions of dollars(thousands of lives too) at this so called war in Terrorism...I think we have our priorities a little f-ed up.

In many cases there is more that 1 side to any story and belief in what is wrong and right. Depending on whom you are and what culture you come from. Really I think our government and law enforcement is doing a great job at enforcing DUI laws. Yet a person has free will to drink then drive. or Drug then drive. At times a person will be picked out as a model to be a deterrent to others so be it with ms Hilton. yet she did little to help herself in getting 3 DUI's in less than 1 year then showing up fashionably late by 30 minutes to the Judge's appointed time in court.

She isn't serving time for just a DUI she was also caught driving several times on her suspended license to which she received for her DUI arrest. So no she isn't getting a raw deal. Even if she is getting the short end of the stick she should be an example. Like it or not some girls look up to her (I have no idea why or what for) and they need to see that you will go to jail EVEN if you are Parasite Hilton. Also funny story had her mommy not try to buy her out of jail she would have been release due to over crowding. hehehe love the karma there!!

DUI busted, twice [I believe] driving on a suspended license-
''do the crime, do the time''. Ditto Lindsey Lohan with underage drinking...why was she served alcohol in a public
place? Isn't that contributing to the delinquency of a minor?
As to the war on terror: you cannot fight a concept like terror any more than declaring war on apathy.

Almost no one serves their full time for a probation violation of a DUI. She is being made an example of. I think she's a moron, but that is not a reason to single her out.
