I was watching a programme the other day about hurricane katrina and it showed that the area still has debris.
Isnt this embarassing considering the size of resources the US have?
Are many of those people still homeless.
Silly question but do they routinely offer hurricane insurance in those areas of the US.

We have one day where we give all the palestinian and Israeli children ice cream to eat together and give them a chance to talk and play. Then hundreds of years later, when an Israeli asks a Palestinian, "why aren't we fighting"? the Palestinian will respond, "WEll, I believe our great-great grandfathers once ate ice cream together."
THEN there will be no more fighting.
What do you think? Do you think my teacher will like the idea (i have to propose a peaceful resolution to the conflict as a project).

I'm trying to bring my country into the 20th century, but old bush won't let me have any fun. when we say "Death to America" we're just having fun. don't you think its funny?

please let us have nuclear material, we are using up all our oil. we promise not to use it against you, swear to 'God' .

please don't invade us. (look at what you did to Iraq )

we love american music......that donnie osmond !!! what a wild man.

you misunderstood us, we didn't say " Death to Israel, Death to Jews" we said, " Death to Ismail, He's a tool"

thank you very much and if you let me come to America, I will use my own Plane.

i was so shocked and what really made me mad was that there were two other big guys looking at the woman getting abused and didn't do anything to stop it. at least try. the woman refused to give him a drink so the drunk cop started to beat her. that's one of the reasons i'm not to fond of cops, most of them think they're above the law. i hope that guy goes to prison

Iran took 15 British sailors and marines captive, supposedly for wandering into Iranian waters. The violation of Iran's space is disputed by the British. However, an Iranian source states the sailors and marines who were arrested by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards off the coast of Iraq may be charged with spying. In another century, that would have provoked war. Is that what Mahmoud Ahmadinejad truly wants.

I was assigned the project to find a way to bring peace to the whole Israel/Palestine problem. I am thinking that i will do a painting to illustrate peace, but what should i do a painting of? The reqirements are that the painting must provide a specific resolution to the conflict. So i cant just paint a picture of bombs and war or whatever, i have to paint something that describes a way to SOLVE the problem. What should i paint?

I've just seen a documentary about the war in Iraq. There were a few vox pop interviews in which some American people were suggesting that the war was a valid response to 911. Is there anybody out there who still believes this, and if so, why?
thank you.
