i was so shocked and what really made me mad was that there were two other big guys looking at the woman getting abused and didn't do anything to stop it. at least try. the woman refused to give him a drink so the drunk cop started to beat her. that's one of the reasons i'm not to fond of cops, most of them think they're above the law. i hope that guy goes to prison

I was kinda dismayed about THAT- myself. #1. Because it was a cop that did it (Chicago's "finest'- I sure hope not!). #2. The guy was TWICE the size of the girl bartender (& looked like a "brute" run off from the WWF). & #3.- The bartender had refused to serve him any more Drinks (But can you IMAGINE what he might've done if she HADN'T- & he had gone into a total drunken RAGE & started killing people?!!). I'm pretty sure the guy lost his job... & a couple of months in jail for Assault- wouldn't have been a bad idea either. (And as for all those "brave men" who stood around & watched this all happen- well, this is what happens to people who respect "Authority" over common sense. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that THEY were Cops- too.).

Well im a big guy and if I seen someone getting beat up by a cop I would stay out of it . The reason I would do that is because I don't know if some other cops are going to show up and mistake me helping that woman for assaulting a cop and shoot me . Even if they did help her and the situation warranted it the system is so f*cked up they probably would have been hauled to jail for assaulting an officer .

Yup! I saw that and for the men who were the bystanders are just big PU$$y's!!! If I was there I WOULD have helped her out instead of just looking around and fumbling with my cell phone!!! And yes I do agree with you that so called "cop" should get the maximum punishment...that damn bastard!! Beating up on a WOMAN!!! It gets me upset just thinking about it...

Yes, the interesting thing is that there are rumors of friends of that officer going to the bar owner and bartender offering them money to "let it slide" !!
I hope the cop and his friends ALL go to prison.

Yeah.
I think one of the guys was calling 911. However, it would seem that someone there would have tried to stop the cop.
But the cop was kinda burly so they were probably afraid to intervene.

I hope he goes to prison, too. Police should realize that they are PAID to protect the people and uphold the law. They are not above it.
