The western world finally has a possible reason to invade iran. 15 british troops were captured by iran for invasion into iranian waters. Wether this is true or not is anybodies guess. What truly matters is Iran and Britain's response to the conflict. If the conflict escalates will the western world invade Iran? Could this all be a fabrication by the governments to promote war in another country of the middle east? If so, will the US instate a draft to dilute the protesting crowd(even though the draft in itself will spark widespread protests, which Bush has the authority to quell via declaration of martial law, which was granted to him in august 2006: http://towardfreedom.com/home/content/view/911/), and to boost the millitary's forces for the invasion? Seeing as it would be a war fought because "Iran struck first" would the rest of the western world back the US and UK? Further debate and questions about this question is encouraged...Thanks for any answers

Do they teach you to keep the center of the video shot closer to the top of the screen, rather than the exact middle?

If not, then they should, because half of the time I watch the news on TV, there is a pile of spam, tickers and crap at the bottom of the screen, then I miss viewing half of the picture.

Also, why do video photographers always zoom in all of the time at an action shot. A lot of the times, I'd like to see a wide view once in a while, to get a better idea of the location. Like a helicopter shot of a car wreck, I'd to see the wider view a few times to get an idea where they are. Most of the times I don't know Street Names, but just the area.

Is it possible the media is the disease that warps our governmental decisions, government agencies making education decisions, world bank decisions and nearly everything else? Does that sound impossible to you? Listen up: THERE IS NO GREATER POWER in the world today than that wielded by the manipulators of public opinion in America. No king or pope of old, no conquering general or high priest ever disposed of a power even remotely approaching that of the few dozen men who control America's mass media of news and entertainment. Suckers of america unite and turn things around. Treat the disease don't be diverted by the much-heralded symptoms beamed at you dailing on CNN, ABC and the New York Times and the Washington Post to name a few of hundreds. Don't sweat the small stuff, as they say in street language. It is the media. In too few special interest hands who have an axe to grind for you. Do approve of this damned class system that is already in place here? Prayer alone will not do it.

I'm considering this move - is there anything I should know about PR/Press relations that I wouldn't know from journalism?

I know they are completely different fields and on opposite ends of the spectrum but at the same time a lot of PRs are ex-journos. I'm wondering how can I make this move?

Throughout these days, we see events of constant torture on the home we're all living on, Earth. No matter who we are or where we are, we're share the same home, so why not we care about it? Factors like never-ending air pollution, water pollution, and not just pollution alone, deforestation which thus leads to flora and fauna extinction, poverty, war and cruelty, and disasters that struck the world, such as the Dec 26, 2005 tsunami on Indonesia and Hurricane Katrina. Aren't we who are human beings should realize our responsibility to stop these events and help everyone alike even though we're from various countries around the world?
So how do we accomplish this dream?

BARTOW, Fla. - A judge has ordered a man who pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide to display a large picture of the victim in his home after serving two years in prison.
Circuit Judge Robert Doyel said Friday that the picture must be at least 2 feet wide and displayed prominently. It also must include lettering that says: 'I'm sorry I killed you.'
Arthur Pierce, 31, was racing with his cousin on a busy street when they caused an accident that killed 17-year-old Chelsi Gregory, authorities said. Witnesses told police Pierce was swerving in traffic at about 120 mph when his Cadillac collided with a pickup in which Gregory was a passenger.
A prosecutor also said alcohol was a factor in the crash. Pierce's cousin, Christopher Pierce, is set to be sentenced April 5.
An advocate for Mothers Against Drunk Driving requested the photograph be part of Pierce's sentence, according to The Ledger of Lakeland newspaper.
The judge said that Pierce's probation officer will be allowed to search his hom

This question is for those of you who are answering my other question regarding Iran. So, those of you who agree that Iran is a huge threat I ask you this? Has the American war on terror made the world safer or more unsafe? Is the the American war on terror working i.e. are they winning? Which country in the last 5 years has illegally invaded a country of less military capability and still made a mess of it? Do you think America is a good and wise enough nation to act as the world's policeman or do they remain rather limited in their approach to difficult issues i.e yippe-i-ai, yee-hah etc?

I was watching a report on CNN where they investigated (I think it was a small town in Cambodia, I forget since there are so many places) sexual predators that were taking a "vacation" in a small town in Asia. When the cameras were visible the men from Europe and North American hanging around his poor place said they were there for various reasons even an American doctor made some excuse. The when the hidden cameras were on these men including the doctor revealed why they were really there...to have sex with children. The hidden cameras then went to these children and I was apalled when a 5 year old girl said she could perform yum-yum for $30 with a big smile on her face. Are these people going to be charged? They confessed on camera that they are having sex with children? Shouldn't the USA watch these people and see were they travel? Shouldn't we help these kids? What can we do?

Who is getting really sick on all the anti Iranian sentiment our government, the american administration and the un are churning out? Isn't it Iraq all over again i.e. inaccurate propaganda in order to ok a war? Is there any proof, past or present that Iran presents a threat to the 'civilised' world. Has Iran ever dropped a nuclear bomb? invaded a country illegally? Havn't britain and the us totally lost the moral high ground when it comes to these issues?
