Who is getting really sick on all the anti Iranian sentiment our government, the american administration and the un are churning out? Isn't it Iraq all over again i.e. inaccurate propaganda in order to ok a war? Is there any proof, past or present that Iran presents a threat to the 'civilised' world. Has Iran ever dropped a nuclear bomb? invaded a country illegally? Havn't britain and the us totally lost the moral high ground when it comes to these issues?

Dear Cyclone - my point is it won't be Iran that detonates a nuclear bomb and the fact that you and many others like you believe they will is why our governments (UK & US) are able to play us like fools.

Wiping Israel off the face of the earth? Rhetoric my friend and not surprising rhetorid at that - if the US and Israel said the same thing about Iran then I would really worry! Also, Isreal has enough nuclear capability to destroy the middle east (thanks to the US) and probably will if they feel threatened.

I do sympathize with how you feel. We would all like to believe that Islam is a peaceful religion and Iran is a country of peace.

However, Iran is a theocracy. It is an Islamic Republic. The preamble to the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran states: "The Assembly of Experts for Constitution...fram[ed] the Constitution...[after input] by the government...with the hope that this century will witness the establishment of a universal holy government and the DOWNFALL of all others."

Even China and Russia object to the degree of enrichment of uranium that is being done by Iran as is evidenced by the March 24, 2007 unanimous vote of resolution of the U.N. Security Council to expand sanctions against Iran and give them another 60 days to stop enriching uranium.

When it suited its purposes Iran signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Now, Iran claims not to recognize the authority of the U.N. Security Council.

And what about the people in the streets shouting "Death to America", "Death to Britain" are they to be ignored?

No, Iran has not dropped a nuclear bomb, YET.

All these morons comparing Iran to Hitler era Germany...the zionist especially like to invoke this rubbish.

Who does Iran threaten, except for Israel? Let Israel take care of their own threats, we give them enough military aid that they should be able to do it themselves. Maybe they are a bit gun-shy given their recent defeat at the hands of a proxy army and too scared to take on an actual army.

One more zionist driven war and I start cheating like crazy on my taxes (well, in all honesty, I'll cheat even more than usual).

Iran is one of the top oil producing nations in the world. They're not about to bite the hands that feed them. Iran is all talk and, of course, George Bush is ready to declare war - like that's a big surprise.

Do you live under a rock? They are holding 15 soldiers captive. It's no coincidence that the kidnapping took place just days prior to UN negotiations. Even if the soldiers were in Iranian waters, would they really invade in a rubber dingy. Use your head on this one. Iran has been given the benefit of the doubt time and time again and has continually manipulated international sympathy to the advantage of their extremist government.

I agree i think that its causing a lot of racial problems in our countries , people are assuming that others are being racial when really their are not , i am not a raciest my self but it still worries me for my familys safety when i see islams and iranies in groups. Why cant we all just live in peace, cause im sure thats what they want too its just they are not being given a chance to prove it because the un wont let them be .

I have to agree with you. Viet Nam, Iraq...they've got to stop trying to play interstellar policeman and mind their own countries. They don't seem to be aware of the crime on their own streets...of course fortunately gangs don't have missle launchers yet, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Of course you're right. Much better to wait until they actually do detonate a nuclear device.
