Throughout these days, we see events of constant torture on the home we're all living on, Earth. No matter who we are or where we are, we're share the same home, so why not we care about it? Factors like never-ending air pollution, water pollution, and not just pollution alone, deforestation which thus leads to flora and fauna extinction, poverty, war and cruelty, and disasters that struck the world, such as the Dec 26, 2005 tsunami on Indonesia and Hurricane Katrina. Aren't we who are human beings should realize our responsibility to stop these events and help everyone alike even though we're from various countries around the world?
So how do we accomplish this dream?

It might be too late to save our good Earth, thanks to all of us who squander the planet's resources as if they will never be depleted.
Yes, corporate greedheads are responsible for much of the planet's deterioration, but they are motivated by the profits they earn from our disposable society. We, as consumers, must learn to live with less, and reUSE, reDUCE, and reCYCLE virtually everything, instead of dumping it all in landfills. Ask yourself these questions:
a) Do you get a fresh styrofoam cup everytime you run down to the convenience store for a soda, or do you take your used styrofoam cup with you and refill it?
b) Do you drive a gas-guzzling $60,000 SUV, or do you choose to drive a fuel-efficient compact car?
c) Do you bother to take a carload of recyclable materials to the local recycling facility every week, or do you simply dump everything into your roll-off containers and let the waste management drivers pick it up? Recyclable materials such as: cardboard; glass; aluminum cans; plastics; mixed paper; tin; asphalt; milk jugs; water bottles; 2-liter soda pop bottles; newsprint; telephone directories; magazines; plastic bags; aluminum foil; beer bottles; snack food containers; and wood products? Or is just too inconvenient to sort all this stuff out?
d) Do you use a cloth, recyclable shopping bag - or do you simply choose between "paper or plastic"?
e) Do you keep your heat turned down under 70 degrees in the winter time and wear sweaters to keep warm - or do you crank up the thermostat to 80 degrees so that you're 'comfortable'?
f) Do you apply chemicals to your lawn so that you'll have a beautiful green yard this spring?
g) Do you bother to read ecological and environmental magazines (such as "E" or "Ode") that offer suggestions on how to save the environment?
h) Do you water your lawn excessively all summer long?
i) Do you enjoy "low prices -everyday" at WalMart on all kinds of plastic junk you don't really need?
j) Do you buy products such as Windex and Mr. Clean in spray bottles, then toss them away when they're empty - or do you keep that spray bottle and refill it from an 'economy' container?
k) Do you consciously avoid buying products that are not friendly to the environment?
l) Do you only buy paper products made from recycled paper?
There are lots of 'little things' we can all do to help protect and conserve the environment. Problem is, we're just too damn lazy and ignorant. It's become too easy to be a 'disposable society', and until that changes, our world will continue to be in danger.
And for the all naysayers who claim our environment isn't threatened, I can only ask: "Even if it ISN'T threatened, is it wise to go on wasting anyway?" If that's the case, why not send me all your money, and I'll waste it for you as quickly as is humanly possible. -RKO-

We can't--the time for concerned action on this level has come and gone !! The best any of us can hope to do -- is to do our best with what we have at hand within our own corner of the globe ! Each of us, are left with a set of survival tools that we must implement each day to negotiate through the maze of circumstances we, each of us, are dealing with !
The corporations and big money elitists have taken the reins of world power--- with the apathetic approval of a public at large SO involved with seeking out pleasures and leisures they couldn't be "bothered" by the processes of being vigelent on ANY level against the assault of big business to rule the planet !!
And, big business doesn't care one nickel about the planet's welfare --- they are into one thing and one thing only -- and THAT is the wholesale sell off of the planet's resources for private gain and even yet more control over the daily lives of the "pions" who they view as their slaves anyway !!
We are living in perilous times--- and most of that peril does not come from the envoirnment or the weather !! It comes from the concerted efforts that are well under way at this very moment to get the entire world into one super conclave of workers and another of "the controllers" --- and once again-- they're the one's with the power and the finances to see this come about !! We are left with only those tools I spoke of earlier and the leverage only to work with those in our own little "cabbage patch" while the world at large is "bought up" by the elite !! It is too late to change it--- and the blood of the world at large will be on the hands of those that allowed it to be so--- those of only a few years back -- that by their apathy and unconcerned daily thrill search-- turned their back on the forefathers dreams of "eternal vigilance" !!!!
