Heres another point.

If something built by slave labour is bad.

Who should apologise the slaves who did not work to a good enough standard, or the slave drivers for not motivating their workforce to do a good job. Maybe they should both apologise.

Slavery has been in mankinds history for a long time, e.g Egyptians, Romans... Britain despite it being the oldest state and monarchy of our time ( A proud legacy), we are still a smidgen in mankinds history, so why should the Uk apologise to someone who was never even a slave. I would never expect a modern German to apologise for WWII.

If I slap someone accross the face with a wet fish, should my gandchildren apologise to their grandchildrens postman.

This is political correctness gone crazy.

Slavery was a terrible point in History, as were The Boar War, The Black Death, The Titanic, WW1, WW2, The Hiroshima Bomb, The Hidenberg, The Holocaust and The Jack the Ripper murders. Does it make a single iota of difference to these events if modern politicians, who had diddly squat to do with them, apologise for them? NO!, The phrase, "It was terribly sad, let's not forget what happened, learn from it and MOVE ON" springs firmly to mind.

All light beer, Zima, wine coolers, and those malt liquor drinks like Mike's Hard Lemonade are sissy drinks. Mike's is ok if you mix it with a shot of vodka. You need to dirnk a British Ale, a German lager, or a micro brew. P.S. Never put fruit in a beer.

There is no need for anyone to apologise except the weak pathetic prats who think these ideas up in the first place.

What makes me laugh is that most slaves were sold by their own people ... their own villagers!

What about the eastern european migrant workers of todaythat most British treat like dog muck. It is they we should apologise to, and welcome them into our hearts and homes
