Everybody talks about over 3000 American deaths, but nobody says anything about over 300 000 dead Iraqis, most of them women and children. Why???

They are all the same. I am sure you guys can find other examples. I refuse to believe that recycling of news is responsible reporting. Even if it is AP, there should be other versions of the story in the news.

FROM THE PROTEST RALLY IN DC TODAY........

At the rally, 12-year-old Moriah Arnold stood on her toes to reach the microphone and tell the crowd: "Now we know our leaders either lied to us or hid the truth. Because of our actions, the rest of the world sees us as a bully and a liar."

The sixth-grader from Harvard, Mass., organized a petition drive at her school against the war that has killed more than 3,000 U.S. service-members, including seven whose deaths were reported Saturday.

The United States is the most powerful military in the world and has the resourses to end these attacks, failed to do so. Our battle plan during major combat was perfect and well planned out. What has happen to that mind- set. Why is the U.S.A. fighting another limited war.

First of all, the parents were prevented from soothing the child in any way shape or form. The flight attendants were attempting to strap the child in a seat on a different aisle than the parents. The parents were trying to return home and were stranded because of this. Did you know this anti-parent sentiment is the leading cause of child abuse? Perhaps people should know the whole story first and maybe you should have kids yourself before you make decisions regarding other people's children and/or commenting about the airline's decision to remove the child from the flight. I don't really care what the opinions of non-parents are in this matter. You don't know how hard it is to be a parent until you are one.

Why are they saying that there were less then 100,000 people at the anti-war protest today? I was there (Washington, DC, national mall). Two hours after I started marching there were still people starting. The National Mall was FULL of people. The parade streched for miles. Don't tell me there was less then 100,000 people there. There was at least 250,000.

Haven't we done the Iraqi civilians good by saving them from evil people like Hussein? Isn't our ultimate goal to fight terrorism, that same terrorism which victimized us on 9/11? Isn't this whole war honest retaliation for how the terrorists wronged us by bombing the Twin Towers? Help me shed some light on the subject. I don't understand liberals' thought patterns, but I am trying to. Thank you!

Looking at the state of our beloved country, it makes me wonder if perhaps someone who was a TRUE Brit would have done a better job on immigration than all the showers of sh*te we have had since the sixties. What do you think?

September 11, 2001, was a Tuesday and therefore a normal work day at the twin towers; media reports stated that about 3,000 people perished or narrowly escaped the attacks; it would seem occupancy of those huge buildings (inc. workers, staff, etc.) would be many thousands of people; one media report in the recent past stated that many of the normal staff didn't show-up that day; this seems plausible since only 3,000 or so were in peril; do we know any other details, and despite the terrible tragedy, isn't 3,000 or so people a small number ...?

I tuned into question time on BBC1 the other day to here some whiney mouthed airhead dumpling answer the question on prison overcrowding, she stated that people shouldnt go to prison for minor crimes, and to her that meant burgulars shouldnt be their. Now its well known that career criminals will start their criminal career burgiling, and wont think about anything of killing people in their own house. I would find it ironic if any the vocal minority clapping in the audience or this moronic bin where stabbed in there own home by a housebreaker and spent the rest on their days in a wheel chair felt the same way after the crime.

I'm old enough to remember the Vietnam protests, and the eventual effect it had...eventual as in over a few more years the troops were finally home.

Do you think the current protests will have any effect in bringing home the troops from Iraq?

You're a pretty vocal bunch on here, with a lot of diverse views, all welcome to express on my questions!
