Everybody talks about over 3000 American deaths, but nobody says anything about over 300 000 dead Iraqis, most of them women and children. Why???

Ok people. Do you really think that the American invasion to Iraq is not responsible for this civil war? Every day at least 10 civilians die, at least. Who started this?

Excellent question!
America did not care about 200,000 Japanese civilians killed by two nuclear bombs for saving the lives of American soldiers.

America did not care about 2 million Vietnamese casualties to stop communism in Southeast Asia.

America does not care about the lives of Iraqi people to terminate what they call "terrorists."

Americans tend to think that America is always right, justice and deserves to act as police of the world. America thinks God is always on its side. Is that really true?

America should see itself from more objective view points. Then, America will realize its self-complacency and arrogance.

It's too bad that Bush hadn't learned the lessons of history. What he is leading us into is the same mistake as the Vietnam War, a war without end, a war whose end is only in sight after the last American soldier pulled out. The sectarian conflict and civil war is a hopeless case. There's nothing the U.S. can do about it. We invaded Iraq and we cannot expect the Iraqis to feel grateful to the invaders. Had the U.S. not invaded, there would not be any sectarian conflict. Bush went to war in Iraq supposedly to make it a good example of what a democratic nation should be, a nation with freedom and democracy the rest of the Middle-East can emulate. Will the rest of the theocratic nations in the Middle-East support the kind of freedom and democracy Iraq is in now?. I'm sure that with the events they're witnessing now, they'd rather remain theocratic than be democratic. In this goal, Bush had miserably failed.

Ask a soldier who has boots on the ground in Iraq, instead of letting driveby media tell you how to think. First person info is way more accurate than news reporting. Those 300,000 dead Iraqis were buried alive by Saddam Hussien's henchmen, btw. And more mass graves are being found each week.

I would agree with you about talking about those others killed but only if we are honest about it. Most of the others killed are dead because of criminals that have used bombs and terror to try to regain rule, lets get the far left to face that more Americans are killed every year on freeways that are let go to pot! Lets face the fact that many thousands more people die each year from being fat or smoking then in Iraq. We can talk about the hate of those who want too and said they will wipe the Jewish people off the face of this earth...there is alot of insensitive/intolerant cultures beside America that we can talk about.

If you had to go to iraq like i did. All of these question run through your head. But you know back in the states people are lieing down in a safe bed. And you just know were doing the right thing.

I love this country.
And I am proud to fight to keep it free.
P.S.
This war wont last forever just keep telling yourself that. That what I had to do when I was in Iraq.

The civil war is done. Why the hell are you talking about That?

I really do not think that is a true statement that we do not care about the others dieing too.It does appear as though your words are meant to produce a guilt feeling, but i doubt the ones who started the war are concerned about all the lives lost in battle.

If the US military leaves Iraq, it will be like Vietnam in the huge slaughter that will follow.
The Northern Vietnamese swept into South Vietnam and killed many people. Later the Chinese army came through and killed more people.

There are people who claim they are for peace, but they don't want their own little space disturbed. They don't want to have to think of the hardship of other people in other places, because the suffering seems endless.

I am sick and tired of people saying Iraqis kill others. Was the killing so massive before the war? It was not. At least, we have started hearing about the thousands of Iraqi's killed in Iraq. this is really pathetic.

That's part of the reason our troops are there - the tyranny of terrorism did not escape the Iraqi people -as Saddam's pits of mass graves have shown .

Uhh, we didn't kill those women and children. Discluding women and children there are terrorists and insurgents we have killed. Deos anyone ever talk about enemy deaths? Are you saying you'd rather talk about dead iraqi then our own troops?
