Well, this is why.
There was a Saudi Arabian sheiks son that was visiting with OBL when the call from our people tracking him called for the strike that would have sent him to those 72 virgins.
The problem in Slick Willies mind was this..... There was a pending multi-billion dollar arms deal with the Saudi's that Billy was working on.
Billy boy was concerned that OBL's visitor might be killed as well and didnt want to jeopardize the big bucks the deal would provide. So in the interest of Capitalism he nixed the hit, and in so doing, allowed the attack of our country on 9-11 to come to fruition.
Good little Liberals of course blame GWB for not getting OBL, but then, George never had the golden opportunity that Clinton did, but that doesnt matter to those people.

Three times after Aug. 20, 1998, when Clinton ordered the only missile strike of his presidency against bin Laden's organization, the CIA came close enough to pinpointing bin Laden that Clinton authorized final preparations to launch. In each case, doubts about the intelligence aborted the mission.
So it wasn't Clinton, it was the CIA who stopped the operation.

Don't believe anything you read in the " Free Repukelic" web site. It is a neo-con propaganda site not worth visiting. Clinton didn't bomb Osama because the Intel was not verified, unlike Bush who just made up his own Intel. The only people who believe otherwise are Sean Hannity and his fan.

I saw a documentary on this on the History channel, and they claim it was because his security advisors said they didn't want to kill the hundreds of women and children that were around him at the time.
