There is more real conflict in the world now than there ever was when we had the cold war with the USSR. The USSR has broken down into the Russias. Bush has lost the vote of the American people, and he no longer has their backing.
Do the American people really realise what is being done in their name - or do they just live on the information they are fed on television?
This is not meant to be a 'down' on the American people. I believe that they are decent people with good ideals. I just think things are being done in their name that they don't know about, and would not approve of.

I posted a question about what happened to some South Africans who were kidnapped in Iraq. The guys were hanged, some idiot answered my question with a racist joke about them and his answer was voted the best! What is wrong with you? Is it funny that people get murdered? How would you feel if someone close to you got murdered and others joked about it? I thought the English were fair, non-racist and compassionate, I really did. South Africa was very clear in it's views against the war in Iraq, these guys were not there to fight. I bet the guy who answered has never even been to South Africa in his life! Apartheid has been dead for a while now and not every white South African subscribed to it anyway. Is every German a Nazi? I am disgusted!

is the bbc biased against white people in its reporting of racist murders compare coverage of kriss donald murder in scotland to coverage of murder of antony walker for example, among many others, and should we be paying for this.No racist murders are justified but should all be covered equally ,I object to paying for a licence for this tripe masquerading as a news channel.

Today, approximately 30% of our territory is crippled with terrorisim. People are up with arms, not because they are antinational but many a times because their voice are unheard by Political bosses and failure of media to reach the root cause and highlight it.

When you think about this, you see what Bush and his supporters are really doing to the United States. The occupation in Iraq costs us about $9 billion a month. However, Bush keeps advocating more and more tax cuts. The budget deficit is about $450 billion a year. Our total debt $8.5 trillion. Bush keeps spending money but won't pay the price.
It's incredible how many people want even lower taxes, and at the same time insist that we stay in Iraq. It's like conservatives don't understand what fiscal responsibility is about. So do you people that support running our country this way have a GOOD excuse ?
