Do British people consider Irish people terrorists just out of anger primarily towards the U.S. for the Revolutionary War???

I'm so tired of the word "terrorist" whoever coined the term is probably laughing their a-$-$ off at how many clueless journalists and news anchors use it for pretty much any "bad guy" these days. The way it is used these days is so generalized if it was used the same way throughout history every single war would have one side calling the other side terrorists.

Native Americans (indians) would've called the pilgrims terrorists. The North would've called the South terrorists during the Civil War in the states. The term has pretty much come full circle... ya know, Jesus vs. the Romans and now Jews vs. Palestinians and anyone else that don't like them.

In 1998, Bill Clinton attacked Iraq, identified him as a threat to peace and our safety, and called for regieme change. Why isn't he being attacked?

"Saddam (Hussein) must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas or biological weapons," Clinton said.

"The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people," Clinton said.

"In halting our airstrikes in November, I gave Saddam a chance -- not a license. If we turn our backs on his defiance, the credibility of U.S. power as a check against Saddam will be destroyed," the president explained.

"Along with Prime Minister (Tony) Blair of Great Britain, I made it equally clear that if Saddam failed to cooperate fully we would be prepared to act without delay, diplomacy or warning," Clinton said.

I live in Sacramento and listened to their morning show. As most people are aware, they held a water drinking contest to determine who could drink the most water without using the bathroom and a woman died from drinking too much. Initially I felt like it was an unfortunate accident, but after listening to the the DJs statements, I'm beginning to think they should be criminally prosecuted.
1. They didn't tell the contestants that there was any chance that they could die.
2. The DJs knew about a pledge who had died from drinking too much water at a frat party and still held the contest.
3. A nurse called to warn them of the dangers and the DJs responded by saying, "Don't worry about it. They signed the release so we're not responsible."

I've gone to Lukas, Maney, and Trish's (the DJs) myspace pages and all these people are telling them how sorry they feel for the DJs and how the lady should have known better. I was stunned that people blame the station and the lady, but not the DJs

I don't have any empirical evidence of this and I am white. But based on TV it seems so. I am beginning to think that it is like cocaine versus crack. Crack is weaker but people get more time for crack because it is usually a minority drug. Just thinking out loud.

Here the Democrats go wasting our money, there is no need for her to go on the taxpayers dime. If anything happens to her (God/Allah forbid) GWB will get blamed and it will become a big C O N spiricy.

If I videotape someone in a quick interview and post the footage on a website, am I required to have them sign a waiver? None of their footage would be considered detrimental (i.e. pornographic) and their real names would be withheld. Would I still need them to sign a waiver for something to the effect of a 60-second clip to be posted on a website?

It would be better than just sticking people in young offenders homes. All they seem to do in a lot of cases, is keep them off the streets for a few months, until they come out and re-offend.
I know that this is not always the case, so respect to those who have put their lives back on track.

It's almost like they've already picked him out as the favorite boy, probably because Hollywood is behind him, and some other fat cats like Orpah. Shouldn't we give all the candidates a fair playing field for the 2008 presdential elections?

Obama has less than 2 years experience as Senator, and already thinks he can rule the country. Slavery reparations I'm is high on his agenda.

2 people were convicted on Wednesday of voting fraud in Ohio for the 2004 presidential election? KERRY WON BY 218,000 VOTES! They can face up to 18 months in prison each! Not much for a federal crime. It is about time the truth came out. A bit late to do anything about it..

Do you actually feel like they're all black and lived on welfare in the 9th ward in New Orleans? Do you think we should forget about the hardworking Americans down there still suffering because of the bad apples and the fraud? Please visit http://pearlington.blogspot.com to see the other side of Katrina. Pearlington, Mississippi is known as the forgotten town of Katrina. I've been working with the wonderful people of this town since last March. They are sweet and humble while displaying a gratitude you'll never see on the news. Every time you complain about the fact you're tired of hearing about the people with their hand out in New Orleans (the face of Katrina and unjustly so) you make it less likely for the people of Pearlington, Mississippi to get help. We work with the insured who received meager payments from their insurance companies as well as the uninsured. One thing is certain. They all work as hard to rebuild their homes and their lives as we do to help them. For an idea of the types of stories I constantly encounter please visit http://helptheladners.blogspot.com While the story is sad it's ok now. They moved into their new home in November. Please help kill the notion that all victims of Katrina are moochers and criminals. You do a disservice to the hardworking Americans still struggling to rebuild when you generalize the victims of Hurricane Katrina. This was by far the worst natural disaster to ever strike the U.S. and you'll be hearing of Katrina for some time. There are good stories you need to hear as well. Thank you.

It has been on the go for 5 years, and only a handful have been charged with anything. How can this situation be justified? Surely if a person there is suspectedof terrorism they should give them a chance to defend themselves in court? Doesn't this seem to be a violation of human rights?
