Enoch Powell was one of the cleverest and shrewd politicians we have ever had and, considering what is happening in this country today he was right. He was ruined by the fact that his 'rivers of blood'speech was consistently misquoted and/or taken out of context. RIP Enoch!

Couldn't agree more. Enoch Powell was too honest for his own good. There are too many PC types around today who simply don't understand what being loyal to ones country is all about. It's an alian concept to them. I wonder if they would be as generous with their own personal hospitality as they are with bestowing the countries largesse onto the undeserving. I doubt it. Still, they have had 40 years of lefty brainwashing, so, can't really blame them.

Agree with you entirely. Sadly he was the first victim of the media's distortion of facts to suit their agenda. What he said was never racist, but a chilling prediction of the disruption that the country would fall into. People called him a racist, a term that is now thrown out by the media to ruin those who stand up to them or those whom they wish to destroy, for whatever reason.
I think the man had the best of intentions for our country and he was courageous, saying what needed to be said but suffering the consequences of speaking the trust.
Gosh I wish he had become PM, what a difference it would have made.

Enoch powell was never primeminister.
However,he did demonstrate remarkable insight.
He was fired for his comments in the first example of political correctness.
Thousands of people protested against his dismissal.
If his warnings would have been heeded, the britain wouldnt be in the mess that it is.
There are many with mr powells intellect and veiws now ,but they are being stifled by the oppressive regime.
We must vote out labour ,so that our academics can speak freely without fear for thier careers.
Even if you dont agree with everything BNP stands for ,we need to vote for them so as to allow everyone to feel comfortable to air their veiws.

In total agreement ,but non of us, because of the the crap race laws in this country of ours, are permitted to voice or show our "possible" true feelings....It will just get worse and worse until we are in a state of anarchy, then the "sleeping" members of the B.N.P. will take advantage and sort things out.....

He was a dangerous racist, also a thatcherite before Thatcher; so he would have been absolutely disastrous for the social cohesion of the country.
