The title of this news article sure stuns me: Iraqi leader goes own way to fill top post. He picks an unknown to lead forces in Baghdad, which raises questions about his motives. I get the funny feeling somethings not right here. It's as if the Americans are setting themselves up for something fishy!!!

I believe that it is the parent's fault for not being more direct on the subject of death. Everyone dies, and the sooner a kid learns that, the better off the kid will be. Also, the kid was 12. If a person is stupid enough to tie a noose around their neck, then the kid isn't smart enough to live.

The president of Iran has visted Nicaragua and Venezuela in order to gain allies agaist the capitalist West (America). It would appear as if the Iranian president is smart in his actions, gaining allies in the 'third' world to combat Capitalism and American influences. There is also talk of oil money being used to fund programs in Cuba and other countries, that have yet to be announced.

So what do you think of this?
I think this president is smart in making allies, the list continues to grow

I'm writing an article for my high school newspaper. Since the month of Feb. is Black History Month, I thought it appropriate to write an article about Dr. Martin Luther King.

Every since I've began writing this article, its been hard to find students who care or are even aware of this federal holiday. Not only do teens not care, but the majority of adults as well. Why do you think people don't seem to care these days? What are the major reasons? and Can we make them care?

I always thought I was a leftie, but read the Guardian the other day and just found it kinda irritating - endlessly opinionated and constant bitching about bush,blair,america etc in practically every article. Does this mean that at the young age of 21 I have already rejected my teenage lefty principles and am on the slippery slope to the right? I always got told that your political leanings go more to the right as you get older - am worried!

Everyone is asking how he could have kept that kid for 4 years without the boy trying to escape or trying to run away. I have a different question. My question is this:
From what i have gathered on the news Michael Devlin had relatives in the area. He had at least one brother in the area and his mother as well. Probably more. Now i understand how he could pull the wool over his co-workers and his neighbors eyes by saying the boy was his son. But how on earth did he do this with his brother and his mom? Certainly in that amount of time - 4 years - they were bound to have seen the kid with him or at Devlins appartment. Why wouldnt they question "who is this kid staying with you?" Devlin brought the boy outside, his family (mom and brother) HAD to know that there was some kid living with him. Wouldnt you think it was strange if you had a brother that showed up with a kid you have never heard of and said it was his son?
Was Michael Devlins family helping to cover up for him?
