America's ability to get away with murder is nothing short of a miracle. It has an art for fooling many people most of the time.

They said they invaded Iraq to topple Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship and establish democracy. A lie. The other “reason” for the invasion was that Saddam had developed weapons of mass destruction. Another lie.

They said there was a link between the terror attacks of Sept 11 in New York and Saddam. A fallacy.

One principal reason for war was that Saddam had to be toppled in order that the US’s objective of preventing the Opec from adopting the euro as the currency standard for oil transactions instead of the dollar.

The reduction of the dollar’s hegemony in the world economy could not be allowed. And for this to be done, the US had to extend its influence and control of Opec. Iraq, as the country with the second-biggest oil reserves, had to be conquered. So, Saddam had to go. And he went.

The power that made him, the US, will never be made to account for making Saddam.

This possiblity was discussed on the Chris Matthews Show on NBC. With the generals and others who did not support the "surge" in Iraq now fired and replaced, who is left to restrain Bush 2 from a new war in Iran? Can Congress do it? Do we really believe they can? If he starts a war with Iran, will Congress be forced to start the drafting of America's young men (and probably women) for military service? Will you serve if ordered to report for duty on the new Iranian front? Have the recent changes in U.S. passport requirements been related to a future governmental need to deter Americans from leaving their own country, as many did during the Vietnam War?

Gosh...I am so tired of every day on every internet page or TV news program the constant talking about bush and Iraq. This has been going on for 6 long arduous years. Can't the media and gov't find any other pressing issues to cover besides this darn!! Iraq thing where nothing is going to change, no ones's going to come home, and bush, who's had a mental breakdown, isn't going to help our men in the military. I think they should send him to Iraq if he thinks it's such a good idea. But at least can't the reporters tell us about other world events and local current events????I never watch or read about it anymore---EVER.

i jus finished watching the zero hour.
the question is 1)why didn't the police go in the school?
2)what took the police so long to get there?
3)where's the swat team?

if the murderers didn't kill themself more people may have been injured or killed because the cops just hid behind the cars shooting with their 9mm or 45. yeah thats gonna do it. u have a 9mm and the ohter guy have an assault rifle.

Take a while ago, for example. The ETA bombed a Spanish airport, BUT since the Basques are not muslim, CNN doesn't find it interesting enough. CNN does a great job at keeping people dumb. Let's just say it was Al Qaeda, it'd have 24 hours coverage.
