Ok so I think its pretty much proven Sylvia Browne is a fake now. Shawn Hornbeck, (the child who was recently found alive after being missing since 2002) His family went on the television show Montel, They decided to talk to Sylvia Browne, the psychic he has on his show all the time. She told the family that their son was dead. And made this big story about where he was and that he was kidnapped by a dark skinned man. When I read an article about this I was in amazement..She was wrong and totally decieved this family. What do you all think about this?

There is no oversight - just a claim that the searches are used to look for terrorists., like the J. Edgar Hoover spying on Elvis Presley, MLK, etc. in the past.

http://www.UnitedForPeace.org is coordinating a march on Washington, DC for January 27th to protest the war in Iraq, and the president's suggestion to send more troops rather than bringing our sons, daughters, husbands, wives, mothers and fathers home.

Many other organizations are trying to rally the American public to protest this meaningless war and the continued devastation of lives. What actions have you taken, and/or what references and ideas can you give the rest of us so we can make our voices heard? Please provide links when possible.

This is just a question in regards to the future.

If the U.S. goes into battle with Iran, what countries would side with whom?

China and Russia would most likely get involved. We've got England, France and Canada who have troops in Afghanistan.

At the beginning of the Iraq war we had only committed 10,000 troops to Afghanistan. Shortly after this was reported we doubled the troops to 20,000. Although there seems to be a shortage of reporting in Afghanistan, it's my understanding that only a handful of cities are under control of the government. The rest is controlled by various warlords and a re-emerging Taliban.

Had we committed 150,000 troops and stayed out of Iraq, do you think we could have captured Bin Laden, brought more of the country under government control, and kept the goodwill of the world? Would it have given us even more leverage against Iran?

The school doesn't have a problem with religion. It has a problem with the wearing of ANY jewellery.
You will find that this is common in all schools because of the Health and Safety issues.
Would you like your child's necklace to get caught into a piece of machinery during DT and for them to be strangled by it? No. This is why ANY jewellery is not permitted. Rings and earrings are all potentially dangerous in a school setting. Taking them off before these lessons would also cause problems, as children may lose them and then you'd have angry parents on the phone.
You know the rules before you send your kids to the school. This is nothing to do with religion!
