I am an independent- and come from a military family. Although I never fully understood our true reasons for going to Iraq- I believe that leaving now would be a catastrophic for the United States future.

The men and my family over there deserve our support. The men hate what they see on the nightly news b/c they dont report the good that they are doing. We only see the bad! We need to rally as a country and stand behind them. I hate when I see a politician who has NEVER had a family member or themselves serve in the armed forces think that they know better. This goes for both parties.

When a politician comes up with a valid and reasonable way to make our country safer- I will stand behind them. Until then - I will believe Bush- b/c when was the last time you heard a president take responsiblity over his mistakes? God knows it wasnt Clinton- (he couldnt even admit to smoking Pot or having sex with Monica).

My advice to you would be to talk to someone in the military, watch Fox news, CNN, and NBC- read liberal and conservative news papers. I think you will become a bit less biased in your thinking... we need more free and independent thinkers.

Judging from your other questions and answers , are you too chicken to express your own ideas or opinions?
Or do YOU actually know anything about anything?
