The title of this news article sure stuns me: Iraqi leader goes own way to fill top post. He picks an unknown to lead forces in Baghdad, which raises questions about his motives. I get the funny feeling somethings not right here. It's as if the Americans are setting themselves up for something fishy!!!

Seems like after Bush's apparent line in the sand, Malaqi didn't waste much time crossing it, and also he started by jumping out on his own, which might be a good thing since it is going to take a very strong leader in order to get stability in the region... I would think that any Iraqi leader trying to establish Iraqi independence from the US better start making decisions without consultations and then backing them up. Backing them up is the key. Let's hope Malaqi has made a good choice and we can get Bush to pull the troops home early!!!! Home before the fish smell gets any worse than it is already.
