I would like to know of some Canadian magazines or sites that accept submissions from freelancers for money. I know of a few but would like to do this full time. Doing both writing and photography. Thank you very much!

We have something down here -- I think it's called The Writer's Handbook (but don't quote me on that). It's a book that lists virtually every magazine that accepts freelance work, how many articles they accept per year, how much they pay etc. It has been an eternity since I bought a copy (comes out annually), so I don't remember if it includes Canadian magazines. But, I would bet that either it does, or you guys have a similar book. And every library usually has a copy.

The pitch is that writing on the internet is in big demand and you can earn up to $30 per website publish, up to $200 day for proofreading, and so forth. In addition, when you join, you get an automatic novel author as nicely as an automated thought generator and automated report writer so is extremely hard not to do this task.

Canada's main freelance writers group is PWAC, the Professional Writers Association of Canada. Though them you'll find out all you need to know:
