Well , I do support it. So I can not tell you why others do not except that they have not been there to see what is happening. My brother, and two cousins are in the Navy/Army and they say we are deperstley needed there. People jut think war is not necessary. Well to quote Kenny Chesney, "Have you forgotten" We leave Iraq and we will be bombed if not worse again.

No and the reason why is that this is not a necessary war to protect America. Hell, we didn't even win the war yet in Afghanistan, which I did support. George Bush and all his Republican loonies along with the Christian right ought to all volunteer, go over there and get the job done themselves. I see where over 70 Iraqi and Afghanistan war veterans are running as Democrates as opposed to only 2 running as Republicans. That should tell the whole country something is wrong with the war in Iraq.

Wars cost money. And this war, in particular, is costing us a fortune. I don't want to support a war that I, my children, and my children's children will have to pay for when it's a country that I don't even really care about. Insensitive? Mean? Yeah, kinda. But, as far as countries go, I'm very much a "take-care-of-your-own" kinda person. I don't want to do good things in other countries if it's at the expense of the American people.

Many reasons from me.
Because we were deceived into the war. Ok, we werent lied to. Technically Bush didnt lie. But he did deceive America. He did stretch the truth.
I could almost overlook that because hey, Saddam was an asshole whos time had come. But......
The lack of leadership in conducting this war is a whole other issue. To deny that more troops were needed throughout the entire course of this war, then all of a sudden two to three weeks ago finally the Bush administration says "You know what, we need more troops". Yeah. thats what everyones been telling you for years now! That is only one example of the lack of leadership we are talking about here. Need i remind everyone how Bush took his eyes off the ball - Osama Bin Laden so that he could conduct this war?
Right war, wrong time in my opinion. Yeah-Saddam needed to go but we had more important things to handle than overthrowing a dictator. Had Osama been captured then Hell yeah, go for it. But by going into Iraq we gave Osama a get out of jail free card.

I totally support our commander in chief. What do the others think we should do? Sit back and wait till we get some more bldgs and people killed over here. Then it will be, "why isn't anyone doing anything about it." Its one of these deals where your damned if you do and your damned if you don't.

because we do not see concrete evidence that iraq is the enemy, or the friends of evil, but what i understand we are trying to do another unpopular war like vietnam, which will cost american lives, in exchange of oil for our dying economy, we have to seek alternative ways to provide energy and not dependent on oil.

Because we want terrorist to focus on attacks in the US instead of fighting our military in the Middle East. I would rather have an immediate withdrawl so our eniemes can focus on becoming suicide bombers on our transit systems, malls ( while I shop for my Ipod), and killing schools full of children.
