I have to do this for world history and I cant seem to find any good links that will tell me about the Rise of Democracy. It can be for anything, just the news has to be under one week old. Please help!

excellent question and even more beautiful assignment. since the advent of "Internet" your questions and my answers and millions of others like us -- we promote democracy and democratization of our institutions. No doubt about it. why? not only because it is self evident -- but because other parts of the world learn about our questions and answers and our way of thinking. let me give you a specific example -- the question and not so insignificant replies to what President Bush does and does not is over-whelming -- there are few countries in this world where such question could be "even thought" let alone -- the writing of them on paper. and list is endless. hope this introduction will lead you to have "the best paper" of your class. good luck.
