Of those mothers who oppose the new healthy meals that are being served in schools, dismissing them as 'rubbish', and are instead taking orders from students through their school gate and passing them food from the local takeaway? What are your thoughts/ opinions on this?

isn't it amazing that a remark that the pope
made can cause such a turmoil all he did was
repeat a passage from a historic writting and
he's expected to make an apology for it ...
the Arab nation needs to look at things in context...or grow up..

This is the worst enviornmental disaster Lebannon has suffered.

Article 8 of Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court specifies that war crimes include “intentionally launching an attack in the knowledge that such attack will cause incidental loss of life or injury to civilians or damage to civilian objects or widespread, long-term and severe damage to the natural environment which would be clearly excessive in relation to the concrete and direct overall military advantage anticipated”.

Wish I was making this up.....MCdonalds is too cheap to put actual wings or breasts in the nuggets. That's why they are nugget
shaped. It's simply a cost effective thing. They figure if they puts lots of flavoring and spices on it, no one will know or care!
Smetimes entire heads fail to get ground, and get made into
nugget "heads". Yes, that means the chicken head itself is one giant nugget. Here's a link to a picture of one!

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://salmonella.co.uk/chicken-mcnugget.jpg&imgrefurl=http://salmonella.co.uk/chicken-mcnugget.html&h=1025&w=610&sz=116&hl=en&start=1&tbnid=xKNSMF-JiD1CJM:&tbnh=150&tbnw=89&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dchicken%2Bmcnugget%26svnum%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN

Mcdonalds of course said it was just a "coincidence" that it had
a head shape. Look and see what YOU think!

Excuse me, I've gotta run to Mcdonalds and chow down on some cut-off ground down chicken heads! LOL!

....considering if he didn’t, the Muslims would have carried on bombing churches and killing Nuns etc. Doesn’t this violence and restriction of freedom of speech just prove the original point? A forced apology has no substance.

Is it just me or are the muslims over reacting? I mean it was a quote not the words of the pope!

If the Catholic Church and Catholic People were to hold demonstrations every time they got critisism they would be demonstrating every day! And they do get critism every day.......direct critism! not indirect like is the case with the muslims and Pope Benidict.

P.S. A few years ago if you went to Saudi Arabia and they found a bible on you, you were refused entry!!! Muslim idiots!

"In July, India's Medical Association began investigating three doctors who appeared on television to promote their amputation services, specifically to beggars, whose income prospects grew with the more sympathy they engender. One doctor said he would remove a leg below the knee, leaving it fairly easy to fit a prosthetic, for the equivalent of about $200."

I have some problems with the veracity and believability of this so-called news story. Does not seem to me that beggars have much access to television.

Can any of our friends in India confirm or deny this?

Im not a Catholic, and never have been. But what is the deal with the Muslims? He quotes some old emperor regarding their violent proselytizing during his age, and the "Religion of Peace" gets all fired up about being portrayed as violent. Today I read about a nun being killed in Somalia by Muslims, and a couple churches being firebombed. Dont they see themselves? Has the whole world gone mad?

public relations disater this is for islam. as a thinking person, i can see the good side of islam, but for many impressionable people, their image of islam, contrary to notion of islam being a peaceful religion will only be of people who are always angry and worst of all, verbally threatening.
nobody likes to be threatened, and i think this has far more negative consequence for muslims than a plane bombing.
that was obviously committed by lunatics....but apparently ordinary people talking and behaving threateningly is a P R disaster.
