Who cares about London? At least you have a barrier, what about the poor eastern counties! One of the most beautiful parts of the world, 6 million people losing land, homes everything! 4+ English counties disappearing under the sea! Cambridge, world famous seat of learning lost!

DEFRA have halted funding for the Eastern coast, which is a disgrace don't get me started! Can you possibly imagine the map of the UK without the distinctive 'hump' and the coastline being 10 miles from birmingham - its fightening!

London will be OK it is the centre of business and commerce, whilst according the Londoners the Eastern Counties don't matter because they are inhablited by a few people and a couple of cows!

Well hon, I was informed the other day that London and surrounding areas would be under water within 10 years, along with our coastal areas. I live 20 miles outside London, so I guess I should head for the hills, the highlands of Scotland I think will be the safest area in the UK.

Seventy-eight years exactly? I don't think that we can accurately say that anything climate related will happen exactly that far into the future.
