Is it just me or are the muslims over reacting? I mean it was a quote not the words of the pope!
If the Catholic Church and Catholic People were to hold demonstrations every time they got critisism they would be demonstrating every day! And they do get critism every day.......direct critism! not indirect like is the case with the muslims and Pope Benidict.
P.S. A few years ago if you went to Saudi Arabia and they found a bible on you, you were refused entry!!! Muslim idiots!

Islam is evil. It is the duty of all non muslims to fight islam and destroy it wherever it is. mohamed was a murderous, child molesting, schizophrenic. No matter how many muslim countries we liberate we must never stop. We must rule their lands and kill or convert all of their people. We must not stop until there is not one single human who calls himself a muslim. The name of Mohamed, may he rot in hell, must be stricken from human memory. Only then will there be peace.

What the Christian world needs to learn... and after the conflict in Lebanon, I would say the Jews already KNOW it, is... the Muslim world is at WAR with everyone who donesn't believe their way... they want to turn the clock back to the 8th century because they are still upset over the Crusades and they have never gotten over getting kicked out of Spain in 1490...
The Quran is filled with all the hate and arrogance that any petty mullah would need to start a war.. AND WE ARE NOW AT WAR... The civilized world just hasn't figured it out yet... so the news medias and the Catholic Church repeatedly panders to the Muslims...
When the Arabs get a nuclear device... or nuclear DEVICES then the Western World will wake up and realize that THE MUSLIMS HAVE DECLARED WAR ON THE WORLD... and until then, the pandering to Muslim tastes will continue.

I wonder what they would do if the Pope came out and said I'm sorry the quote is still true today, or I'm sorry the person who he quoted was right. He couls say I'm sorry today's Arabs can't prove the quote wrong by their behavior. I think these are the only apologies the Pope should be making.

Jews were offended by the Passion Of the Christ,

They always do.
Look for a war and 9 out of ten they are involved. That is why they still live in the stone age in most of the middle East. Without Oil, they would be poor scurrying rats.
Thier religion will doom them if they do not learn tolerance.

Over reacting?.... hmmm... Lets see if I got it straight... the Muslims have told the Pope to apologize for implying that Islam has violence. And if he doesn't do so they are going to (if fact actually are) riot in protest, and burn down Christian churches. Hm mm .... Makes absolutely no seance

Let's face it. Islam was founded in violence and continue in that tradition. If the free people of the world object to something they protest peacefully. If an Islamist objects they kill the innocent. If the majority of Islam (that is supposed to be peaceful) does not speak out then they are part of the problem.

Most of these demonstrators are poor, uneducated and unemployed. They've got nothing better to do with their lives and when their religious leaders tell them to go and demonstrate they "hop to it". I don't believe they even know why they are out there half the time. They are brainwashed and do anything they are told as long as it's in the name of Islam.

The Pope has EVERY right to express himself.
Did the media blast Al Sharpton for ALL his racist/antisemitic remarks? Did they do it on a DAILY basis?
