Are they just fueling Islamic propaganda?

For the past few weeks, I have keeping up with the situation between Lebanon and Israel. I believe that Israel does have a right to stand up for itself in a region that is geographically dominated by muslims, but are they really approaching this conflict properly? From what I have read, lots of women and children are being punished over in Lebanon as a result of a governmental conflict. People in Lebanon who hadn't necessary shown any resentment for Israel or the United States are now furious with americans and israelis. When people are in this state of frustration and panic, it becomes very easy to persuade their rationale by means of propaganda.

I have a strong feeling that this conflict will not end anytime soon. There are just too many issues at the present that cannot be worked out by means of negotiations and peace treaties. The only question is, will more countries join the conflict before this situation is over?

Why does president bush think its his duty to help Isreal kill innocent ppl, when his country is in bad shape itself! Shouldnt he be dedicated to lowering gas prices and finding more jobs. I swear Bush is dumb! And Isreal is trying to take over the WORLD! What the hell, POOR PALISTINE AND LEBANON!

What I have heard is that it is really a place of discrimmation and I would not like my friend working, there because she would set them straight which would cause her fired. and she doesn't really have the money to dress that way so she can work there. So maybe just rich kids work there so they can get a discount.

As most of you know, many news stations such as Cnn, ABC, CBS, always show one side of a story. I was briefly watching FOX when the Iraqi PM made his 30 minute speech, and their were still Democrats who think we should have never invaded Iraq. And this was after the Iraqi PM thanked us like 20 times, for standing by his country when know one else would!!! Democrats can be a real pain in the *** sometime. Now i'm not talking about all Democrats but, still Democrats don't think. Here we have the Iraqi PM thanking the US, and the Dems are criticizing him!!! People tend to forget democrarcy take time to set up.

Suppose we would have give up during America's Revoultion and gave in to Britain. Britain did of course have the most powerful army and navy back then. Where would America be today? The way the Dems are telling everyone to give up on the this Middle east war, they sound like just the people that would have given up on the American Revoulution. People tend to forget about History

Why do we keep patting our criminals on the back? Why do we keep giving them excuses for their crimes? We live in a country where we want to toss a guy in the big house and throw away the key for smoking a joint but we let a woman off the hook for DROWNING her FIVE kids!!?? Also, what does the U.S. have to do with it? I was watching a report on a missile strike in Lebanon and the reporter asked one person why he thinks the building was struck. The man replied, “I hate America, I will fight America!”. (This was the report on Yahoo!, http://www.yahoo.com/s/356603 Kevin Sites)This man was an educated doctor and still he blames the U.S. for the attack. I understand that the U.S. is not liked for some reasons, but why is every conflict blamed on the U.S.?

I am not looking for crazy ranting, but rather a better understanding of other people ideas.
