Everyone is a civilian, think about it if the United States was invaded (like the movie Red Dawn). Would you defend your home or apartment? Would you utilize your constitutional right to bear arms? Killing is Killing.....just when your in the military you don't get sentenced 30 years to life in prison.

Is there glory when terrorists strap on bombs, go into a marketplace where innocent civilians are, and blow them to pieces?
I'm sure that Hamas would agree with you that there is glory in doing that.
Is there glory when terrorists hide behind innocent people and fire off their rockets?
I'm sure that Hezbollah would agree with you that there is glory in doing that.
I'm sure you would agree that there is glory in killing the civilians who worked in the World Trade Center.
Right?

No. If they're not combatants, there's no honor in killing them. The really nice thing to do would be to give them two weeks' notice before starting a war so they can get out of the way.

Are those civilians strapping on bombs and blowing up other civilians?
Then yes.
If they are innocent bystanders, than no.
