Neither. Hezbolla and other militant Islamist Radicals are the bad ones. They are the ones seeking to kill Jews and Israelis just because they want to. These are the people Israel is dealing with.

Israel

I am American and even I can see that it is not beneficial to hold women and children prisoners. 2,500 prisoners that committed no crime must be costing them a fortune. They should have been glad to exchange those people, or part of them, to get back their soldiers. Also, why were their soldiers in Lebanon to begin with? They had no business being there, and if they had stayed on their side then they would not have been captured.

Israel has been bombing the citizen's of Lebanon, not the terrorist. I have been reading up on the news and know many Middle Eastern people. Israel told the people to leave and as they were leaving flew planes over head and bombed them! Israel's leaders must be crazy to start so many wars when they are such a small country. I think the whole situation is very sad. I wish that everyone could just live peacefully. I do not blame Lebanon for wanting to get their citizen's back. I think the American government should be more open minded about this instead of whole heartily backing Israel. I have heard many people say there will be a WWIII and it looks like there might be. I hope not though!!

Israel! A couple of Israeli soldiers are captured by a band of renegade soldiers (who Israel had to leave alone after their casualties in their old buffer zone in Lebanon were so great that the public cried to bring the troops home), so rather than a hostage exchange, political pressure, or a commando raid to get them back they decide that the government of Lebanon should have been protecting Israel from these renegades within their borders and bomb their airport and the road out of the country, killing dozens of civilians. To retaliate, the terrorists (funny how any enemy soldier who doesn't have air support is called a terrorist these days) shot rockets at an Israeli warship and city, killing eight civilians.

Following that, Israel tells everyone to leave the area and then blows up anyone on the road. Israel blows up the UN base, even after they missed it the first time and got a call from the base asking not to get blown up. And so on--

To sum up--Israel has killed more than twice as many civilians as the Hizbolla terrorists, and has no justification for a response of this magnitude. They have a right to defend themselves, but are wrong to use any slight against their borders or people as justification to start a bloodbath in a country with which it is not at war for failure to remove a militant group that Israel itself failed to get rid of a few years earlier.

No one is bad. Ok just think you are an Israeli and you are in Israel and ask this question you will think Lebanon is bad.
Now reverse the position and Place yourself inside Lebanon and ask this question and you will feel Israel is bad.

There are time in life when you don't want to do but you have to do at any cost. Behind that are hidden reasons. Whether Israel or Lebanon they have their own reason. To know answer to your question better visit both countries than asking question here.

The Israeli government is to blame because it allows its army to attack civilians and is the root cause for the 2 billion dollars in damages sustained by the infrastructure. Not to mention the years that its gonna take to rebuild everything.
