Although it's been years, this case was never solved. The mobster by the name of Provenzano was the last to see him and was thought to have had something to do with his disaperance.

I have a tendency to believe the "Iceman's" story , that he was put in the trunk of an old car, which was smashed, and sent overseas to Japan, and they used the car, and indirectly Hoffa , for scrap metal.

I've heard he was cut up, mixed in with concrete, and is now part of the slab of one of the skyscrapers in Chicago. There were several stories that he was buried in Yankee Stadium, but MythBusters proved those wrong.
