I'm looking to build a scrapbook for the time between May 2006 and July 2006 and I would like to include a couple of pages of what went on around the world. What are some major news, or interesting news events that happened around the world for that time period?

Well this story started in Feburary this year and still is going on. It is the reclaimation site in Caledonia, Ontario. The land was Native owned but the government took alot of land away, and than non-Natives took it. Barricades went up, and all hell broke loose. Alot of racism from the town of Caledonia! The Natives have tons of support from all over the world. See in 1945? the government came in with guns and told the Natives that their way of governing is no more and they appointed a new government for them which is still in excistance to this day! And than the government would not deal with the real Confederacy until this happened, and now negotations are at the table. That hasn't happened in over 50 years!
