Also, what does the U.S. have to do with it? I was watching a report on a missile strike in Lebanon and the reporter asked one person why he thinks the building was struck. The man replied, “I hate America, I will fight America!”. (This was the report on Yahoo!, http://www.yahoo.com/s/356603 Kevin Sites)This man was an educated doctor and still he blames the U.S. for the attack. I understand that the U.S. is not liked for some reasons, but why is every conflict blamed on the U.S.?

I am not looking for crazy ranting, but rather a better understanding of other people ideas.

When Israel was created from some colonies of European Jews, made formal on 14 May 1948, there was much displacement of Palestinians from their homes and farms. This continued in the early part of Israel's history, angering more and more Arabs, while the refugees went to neighbouring countries such as Jordan and Lebanon. Hezbollah is composed of Shi'ites who live in Lebanon. They have ties to Iran, which is significant to us because a small body of political people will feel braver if they know they have a much larger body of people supporting them. Hezbollah happens to have a leadership which has declared sympathy and support for the Palestinian cause. And being neighbours to Israel, the Hezbollah happen to have been in conflict for quite some time. But how does Hezbollah operate with so much impunity in a supposedly sovereign nation of Lebanon? One might ask. Ever since Lebanon was drawn out on a map by colonial powers after the partition of the Ottoman Empire, Lebanon has not really formed a strong national government. The Lebanese are a loose federation of ethnic and religious groups, including Arabs both Moslem and Christian, Druze, Maronite, Aramaic, and Shia Moslems.
As to this man blaming the US, well, there is the belief that the US is the most powerful friend of Israel. The US sells much armament to Israel, and steadfastly backs the protection of Israel. While some blame the Jewish lobby for this, there is also a strong Christian lobby in defense of Israel, for Biblical reasons. Some American Jews are actually not in favour of a hawkish Israel, while some Christians are faithful supporters of whom they call "the Chosen People."

the customary reason those international locations are adversarial to Israel is using the fact Israel displaced Palestinians while it exchange into formed, splitting Palestine into Jordan and Israel, and pushing most of the human beings who have been already residing interior the region that grew to alter into Israel out of their residences and into much less proper aspects of the land. The day Israel grew to alter right into a state, most of the international locations interior the region declared conflict against it. Antisemitism (that's no longer in all probability the proper be conscious, this is quite anti-jew, because of the fact the finished region are semitic peoples) performs a important function as properly. it quite is the fundamentals, even with the undeniable fact that it gets so lots extra complicated from there, requiring a learn of the history of the state of Israel interior the final 60 years and the 5 thousand years previous that too.

I think that the American government is being hypocritical. Furthermore, the average American is unaware of the actions by all parties in the Middle East, and mostly end up echoing the 30-second sound clips of their government.

1) Americans often repeat the statement that "Israel was the traditional homeland of the Jewish people and it was stolen from them". While this may be a true statement depending on your point of view, if you agree with this statement than logically you should agree that all Americans should be forced to live in 25 states and the American Indians should be given back the other 25 states because their land was stolen from them, too. Or maybe California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and parts of Colorado should be returned to the Mexicans because their land was stolen from them.

2) The American government advocated for fair and free elections and would support the winner. The winner of the fair and free elections was Hamas. Instead of supporting the government as they had promised, the Americans condoned Israel witholding millions of dollars rightfully owed to the new Hamas governemnt so they could build roads, schools, hospitals, businesses, policemen, firemen, and other infrastructure of a nation. If another country witheld millions of dollars from the United States so that they could not pay their citizens salaries, repair bridges, or provide roads to transport food to market, the United States would go to war, too.

3) Why does the United States tolerate Israel being a racist country that only allows Jewish people to live there? When South Africa denied basic civil rights to non-white citizens, there was world wide outrage and demand to stop state sanctioned racism. Instead, the United States supports Israel's state sponsored discrimination against its non-Jewish citizens.

Personally, I do not believe the claims by the American government that organizations such as Hamas, or nations such as Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia are trying to exterminate Israel. This statement is repeated again and again by American officials until they say it enough times that it is accepted as fact.

I believe that if the United States and all countries would end the unfair economic policies, stop military actions against citizens in other countries, and provide hope to Lebannon and the Palestinian people instead of humilation and despair, the fighting would stop and new nations would emerge.

The explanation for this is that the Hezbollah strongly believe that Israel has no place in Middle East and according to the Bible in the old testament, they were being punished by God for their stubborness and condemmed not to have a nation. But eventually, they will reform in accordance with God's command and succeed as a chosen people of God, as the Bible said. And win the conflict because God is on their side. I am a Christian and I believe what the Bilble said.

i hope you are older than 21 because i am tired to talk to kids
so 1-Israel has nothing against Lebanon
2-Hezbollah which are a terrorist organization kipped by Iran and Syria on Israeli border attacked Israeli citizens and cities one beautiful day without any provocation and kidnapped Israeli solders
why ?because now all the world is having an occupation with the war story so ,NOBODY STAYS ON IRAN'S BACK TO STOP
MAKING NUCLEAR BOMBS ,so they are doing there bomb in quiet because nobody has time for them in this war time
this what Hezbollah's did in the last 6 years after Israel get out of Lebanon
in this time they built them selves in and prepared a lot of ammunition to attack Israel at Iran's and Surya's command
now the Israelis have no other way to stop them just by getting back in Lebanon and destroying the terrorist's basis
the worse is that the terrorists are infiltrated between Innocent people that are killed like innocent Israelis for international Iran 's political issues

the conflict is all about ---

occupied lands, and more ccuppied lands

arab world against the jewish settlers in forming the state of israel by the un mandate. both sides did not recognize the existence of the other.

the unwillingness of the arabs to compromise despite the un resoultion 181, and other resoultions.

the support of arms by iran, and the syrian domination of lebanon deepens the nature of the war with israel. on the other hand the us should not be too deeply involved in a war that is not their business.

the palestinian as the homogenous people of the palestinian land, has every rights to statehood. palestine is not a formal country, and is treated unfairly without human dignity by the world community.

the un is ineffective to getting to the root problem, it is firefighting through ceasefire accords, peacekeeping for nothing, and words for consolation. ineffective as a international body for all nations and races.

israel's right of defence is no more excuse for excess killing. the arabs called it war crime? it is just the pain for not forgatting the push for enhanced revenge.

the other organizations such as the organiztion of islamic countries talks of the results of war, but failed to address the root cause for the continued war. the arab league is good only for show business, with little to offer for ending the hostilities for building or improveing lives of both people. averick like gadaffi and dr mahathir just indian chieftains going for condemnation and talking cock logics. osama bin laden is the newcomer with new way for international terrorism as a means to get at the us.

the stupidity to fall back on american history as precedent for settlement for the warring sides. also the mention by the bible of the trightful occupant in a fast moving and globlized world has little relevance to a fair and equitable settlement to both sides.

violence by attack provocation as in the current attack by hezbollah on israel or any other provocation is the easiest way for war, but the least effective way to move forward the position and reason for change. it has achieved little through the decades.

all make excellent fireworks.

Because Isreal uses the best bombs that the USA can afford to give them. USA supports Isreal unconditionally regardless of what they do.

Iran is getting crap because they supplyed Hizbolla with rockets that killed 19 innocent people.

USA is NOT getting crap because they supplied Isreal with bombs and missiles that have killed 0ver 400.

It may come as a supprise to you that USA made missiles killed 4 UN peace keepers yesterday.

They hate the USA because they feel abandoned by us. Thats it. They dont hate freedom as Bush says - they just hate that they have a huge wall put up in front of them. Think of them as the "red haired stepchild" that is really nice but no one wants to pay attention to in fear of upsetting the other children.
