Their religion is interfering. So there really is no good way to end it.

As I see it, the conflict is between the "have's" and the "have-not's"...it is not about ethnic or religious differences.
The "have-not's" choose to use violent, terror-filled methods to impose their corrupt beliefs on the "have's".
The "have-not's" resort to any method in order to obtain what they do not have...this includes killing innocent civilians, strapping bombs on their own people (including women and children) and using them as suicide bombers to kill innocent (i.e., non-military) people.
How to end the conflict:
When the "have's" (i.e., ALL people in the free world, not just that one little island of freedom called "Israel") finally come to a point and realize that one cannot fight the "have-not's" in the traditional (i.e., Geneva Convention rules - see link) sense, then there will be peace.
In my opinion, the ONLY way to stop the conflict is two-fold:
1. to eliminate ALL terrorists, on a global scale, through a revised agreed-upon law based on modified Geneva Convention rules;
2. to remove the incentive that drives this "have-not" mentality - petroleum. If all the "have" nations find alternative forms of energy to drive their economies, the "have-not's" will lose their power base which is obviously fueled by corrupt leaders of oil rich nations in the middle east.

First, I want to say that if Israel took land from you quit whinning you weren't man enough to hold it. I am tired of the Arab nations whinning like babies because Israel beat there butt.
Now the way to end the conflict at least I think. The Arab nations need to band together and disarm all Muslim Terrorist groups and put them in prison. Israel pulls back into its designed borders and a nuetral zone set up much like between N and S Korea.

Releasing the 10,000 palestinian and lebanese prisoners held by israel for the past 20 years in exchange for the captured soldiers, returning the shebaa farms back to their rightfull owners(lebanon) and a withdrawal of Israeli troops from the palestinian land invaded since 1942

End religion, ALL religion. Level all so called holy sites, salt them with radio-active cobalt and bury them under a twelve foot pile of sewage sludge. As long as you have people who are trying to out-breed each other and killing each other for the greater glory of their various made-up gods, there will be conflict.
