My cousin has discovered mice in her house. A whole family of them it seems. Traps have been set, but we wondered what is the ONE BEST SPECIFIC FOOD ITEM to trap them with. The mice seem to like the cat food that has been placed inside the traps, but I heard peanut butter works best. However, is it a good idea to change the food item we've been using once mice have been caught? Would they "suspect" something is up if the food item is changed?

My in-laws have just purchased the property adjacent to ours, and upon inspecting the premesis yesterday, we found what looked to be a chestnut lying on the ground. I have no idea how to tell the difference between the two, and I know that humans cannot eat buckeyes. If this is a true chestnut tree, then we will keep it. If not, and it is a buckeye tree, we know we can cut it down. I just dont want to waste delicious chestnuts, if thats what they really are.

Over-night my yard has been peppered with about 100 fresh holes and tunnel ruts! They are fresh! How in the world can I get rid of the devils!

I got this glass on vacation, and when I unpacked it there was a slight hairline crack in the side. It didn't go all the way across the glass, as far as I can tell it is just a visual nusiance, and I want to make it disappear.

I'm re-planting for winter. I was thinking of being a bit different this year and planting in a really modern and sculptural way - I fancy just putting in a line of ornemental brassicas - purple and green. I don't know anything about them. Will they last all winter, what colours can I get - do they need special care? Any other suggestions.....?

I have one door in my home that I have tried to seal all around but the crickets keep getting in somewhere. Luckily this is a mud room and they seem to like it there and don't go any further. Is there something that I can spray or maybe a powder substance that I can sprinkle along the threshold to kill them before they enter? I'm bugged.

Supposidly if you bury a statue of some saint in your yard it will help sell your home. Anyone know the details on who and how? There is no disrespect intended in this posting. FYI

I have a ficus tree that must be about 7' tall and at least 6' around. The tree is from my father-in-laws funeral and I don't want to lose it. We are moving into a much small space and won't have room for a tree this size. I would like to take cuttings from this tree and keep at least a part of it.
