How can I tell if my friend likes someone?

hi, when your friend is always talking pleasantly about that someone, then you know your friend likes that person. however if there's no 'tangible' reason to be hostile towards that person and your friend acts vehemently hostile towards that person- very likely that ur friend likes that person.

invite both of them over to your house for a cook out.
See if they get along well together.
