Don't smoke indoors period. Once the smoke is in there about the only way to get it out is to replace the carpet or flooring, replace some of the fabric based furniture and re-paint the walls. Smoke outside from now on.

to be perfectly honest, febreeze works well. Just spray it on the fabrics because the cigarette smell in your room is just from the smell stuck to the fabric. In a couple minutes or so the smell should be gone.

Start by having all upholstered stuff professionally cleaned. Ditto the carpets and anything else onto which the stench has settled. Clean all non-porous surfaces well. And most important: Do not allow smoking in that room henceforth.

Orange Cleaner, about 10-20 cans of it. Wipe down the walls. Use Fabreeze/lysol on all of the fabrics. etc.
My suggestion: don't smoke indoors, it's hard as hell getting it all out and it will drastically shorten the life of your electronics (The Nicotine sticks to the dust, which makes the dust sticky itself.)

You will need to wash the walls,windows,any wood trim. Scrub the carpet. If it was just 1 or 2 cigs smoked,just open the window.

I would say leave the windows and possibly doors open for a good protion of the day then fabreeze the joint!
