This time of year they are always bad. Take a bowl and pour in some apple cider vinegar (about an inch) and then cover with Saran Wrap. Poke (with a knife) about a dozen holes in the Saran Wrap... they get in but can't get out. They are attracted to the smell of the Cider Vinegar, get trapped in there and then drown. YEAH!

Put out a disposable cup of a sweet drink...they will fly in and drown.

Put up a fly tape, they are attracted to the scent of the tape and they will stick to it and die.
