does anyone know how to get rid of box elder bugs?

it is fall again and the box elder bugs are running wild. i cant find a tree that i was told that they live in. so i am not sure where they come from. the are flying all over the front porch and make the wood deck there home. so if someone could please help me.

Shoot them in the head. the only other way is to sneek up on them and cut their throat, but you must be very careful, they are tricky and can fight back. good luck.
