I'm about to buy my first home (condo) and do not plan on living there more than 7 years. I decided to buy because I'm sick and tired of throwing money away renting.

I have narrowed my loan choices down to either a 30 year fixed and a 7 year interest only. The 7 year interest only mortgage is $120 less per month than the 30 year fixed, which is a lot of money for me.

I am also aware that I'd be able to write off a greater amount in taxes by going with the interest only mortgage, yet most people are still advising me to go with the 30 year fixed instead.

Please help.

Thanks

I'm getting married in Ohio in March (which is the tail end of our winter). We want real flowers, and our colors are blue and white. Are there any pretty flowers in season at that time that we could use?

About ten thousand houses were distroyed, more than 7000 people died in the earthquake on May 27th in Yogyakarta and Central Java.
With the help of the government and other local and international organisations the population in the devasted area will hopefully soon be able to start rebuilding their homes. Many of them - or most - will use ASBESTOS material on their roofs instead of the formerly used tiles, because it is cheaper and lighter than tiles. That is very popular in Indonesia nowadays and people really have no idea at all, that asbestos might cause any problems !
Who can tell us, how dangerous is asbestos on the roof for the people living in these houses ?
I am very worried and concerned that this might become a time bomb and reduce even further the living quality in this country.
I live in the neighbouring town of Solo and help earthquake victims on a private scale to find logistics and donations.
Thank you so much for every serious comment !

The smell of cat poo and urine is spoiling summer in the garden but I don't want to harm the animals. I have tried a cat sprinkle from Wilkinson which is great but washes away in the rain and eventually gets expensive. Any other solutions ? thank you

If you have ever been to a resort they have them right next to the pools. They are gorgeous, but I cant seem to find anything online. They are just a wooden framed, canopy style bed with sheer drapery over it.

My husband put in the window air conditioner the other day and all of a sudden it is causing puddles inside the house - normally the condensation (or something - I'm not mechanically inclined!) would drip outside. We have no clue what he did wrong.
