Everyone knows the Webber brand of grills. They make several very good grills in your price range. Pick the one with the amenities you want and enjoy. Here is my favorite website for all things BBQ:

S.R. Potten Ltd makes a fairly good inexpensive stainless steel BBQ called the Grill Chef.
You can find them at Costco and Sam's Club.

I perfer a charcoal grill. I never had a gas grill that was worth the money. It can never compare to grilling on a charcoal grill. I bought a large charcoal grill for my hubby at Sam's Club a few years back and we LOVE it!

Me, I use a small table top gas grill from Walmart. It's not difficult to put together and it's only $19.95. It does just as good a job as the bigger units and it's easier to store.
Also, Lowes has a good table top for around $50-80 I forget if it was onsale when my friend got hers. It's a much heavier metal, but it's good and sturdy. She paid $50 for it.
