Wash them and add some baking soda and borax to the wash cycle . Use vinegar in your rinse cycle. Remove them promptly from the washer and toss into dryer.

Wash them more often. don't put them away wet. Use white vinegar in the rinse water. Don't use fabric softener with scent That can make other smells stick to the material in the towels.

That smell is from mildew. You must be using your towels too long or maybe leaving them in the washer and forgetting to dry them fast enough. Just wash them and dry soon after and change your bath towels more often. Hope this helped!!!
