My condo assoc. had an exterminator come out and get rid of the nest that was near the window, and they also said they would have someone check and caulk around the windows where the bees are getting in...but that didn't seem to work because I am still getting 2-4 bees in my house per day. Any suggestions? Should I have a window company come out and pull out the windows and insulate and seal them back up? HELP!!!

I've recently installed laminated shiney worktops in my bathroom and to my horror they are beginning to scratch, even though I have been extremely careful with them. Is there anything that I can put on to stop the scratching and anything I can use to remove the scratches that have already occurred? Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks
Sue

I joined Atlantic Electric and Gas in December with my old company I paid £30 pm for electricity. Atlantic said no bother just pay us that. They did several est. bills and a couple of readings then 8 months later they tell me I owe them £800. A 200% increase in electricty costs AND I have not increased consumption or purchased / used any new equipment.

I am edging an area that has no grass. To make the edge into a straight line, I have to pull up about 6 inches of grass for about 40 feet. Right now, I am using a garden hoe. But it is slow and tedious. Any other suggestions?

I was curious if a house A/C puts out a constant temp or variable temp based on thermostat setting? In other words..is the air pushed out of the vents proportional to the thermostat set temperature?

Since my husband passed away I have to try to do all the things he took care of. 2 weeks ago I checked the oil on the mower,it was low so I put in the oil up to the full mark I mowed my lawn no problems. Then yesterday I went to mow a little and after about 10 minutes it popped like a back fire a big cloud of white smoke blew out the exhaust. I shut it off. Then later I started it up small amount of smoke still coming out the oil light is on the oil stick shows over full now. Can I drain the oil and re fill it will it fix the problem? please help.

There are 2 rooms totalling about 500 sq.ft. that the ceilings need to be mud, taped, and textured. Then there is about 500 sq ft. of wall that needs the same, and the other 700 sq feet, have already been mud/taped and textured, but I'd like new texture (heavy knock down) on top of this. We have 1 estimate but would like another to know if I've been quoted a good price or not. The corners need the metal stripping around them as do the windows. Thanks for your time.

4 months ago I had a new submersible pump installed,(piping, gauges, the whole 9 yards). Things were fine for a while then my inside pressure dropped. I irrigate my acre overnight each night and can use my outdoor shower without any problems, the pressure is great. Only at my indoor showers, and sinks is the pressure quite low.

I'm thinking dirty ducts, because the furnace filter has been replaced. The only other culprit is a former tenant used a grill near the back of the building, and the smoke may have gotten into the unit and discolored the walls.
