The leaves start out with yellow speckles and then turn all yellow. I started watering the trees 5 min each twice a day for 7 days (2 wks) then changed to 5 min/day 6 days a wk. The rest of my new plants seem to be doing OK with this watering schedule. I live in No. Calif. The temps have been running in the mid 80's to low 90's........please help!

I am container gardening in zone 7. I planted 3 calla lily bulbs, and only one is producing. Same with one of the cannas--lots of roots, but after many weeks, that's it. The ones that made it are flourishing. Should I dig up the others and store them until next year, wait until the end of the season, or what?

Full sun, lots of water, like roses, or part shade, or dryer conditions, like lavendula?

hi guys, i want to keep a plant/small tree in my living room and kitchen in big pots. There isnt much sunlight in these rooms in my house. Infact i shoud say there will be no sunlight at all. It wont be dark too, the daylight comes in though in the daytime. I want you guys to help me out by giving me names of some plants/trees that are, beautiful to look at, perennial, sold in Toronto, and are which dont need any sunlight at all and grow well indoors. You can help me by sending me links to the plants too.

I'm watering regularly, drainage is great, and using moisture control soil. I have several healthy tomatos growing nice and big, and the othe leaves look great. What could be causing the yellowing of a few bottom leaves?
Thank you!

What is the best way to package and send an orchid. It needs to travel about 1100 miles. It was given to me and I don't want it anymore. Don't feel right killing it, so I decided to return it to the rightful owner. Anyone have any suggestions on how to package and send it so it will be received in one piece. Thank you in advance

I have a serious black fly situation on my nastursiums, and since I want to eat them I dont really want to use pesticide however 'safe' the label says it is. Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of them without using it please? I guess organic gardeners would know?

Landscapers started putting our lawn in today. It had lots of and very long weeds, wild grasses and wildflowers growing. They spread out black dirt over the entire lawn without doing anything to the weeds, just left them there as is. They are then going to sod over the black dirt. Is this a dissaster waiting to happen? Thanks in advance:)
